    As of the moment based on the test we did - T54W with an expansion module is not compatible with Shared Lines.

    The phone of the customer has an expansion module they would like to request to also add Yealink T54W with expansion as a compatible phone for shared lines

  5. when I click to dial using ring out the call is recorded 2 times in the activity history for the contact. I can’t imagine that is the way it’s supposed to work. It is weird. It shows me making the outbound dial but then it also shows an inbound call from the same person I dialed. It shows it in both the RingCentral app and the salesforce activity history. Is that correct?

  11. Currently, the outlook integration app has two kinds of outlook phone call handling

    1. The select to dial as you can see on the screen, it works perfectly

    2. The call contact (like button on contact card). The 'Call' menu in the contextmenu by right click on contact should be the same as the call button on contact card.

    It would be great if we have an option to make a call under the 'Contacts/People'(listed in the Global Address List), personal contacts, and shared contacts.

  13. telephonySessionId is the value that the API RingOut return to the client after a success outbound call is originated. And this is also the unique key across multiple Webhook events related to a single call. This is the only info that the client application know about the call, so accessing the Call Record Detail using this telephonySessionId is a must have feature because filtering this value using the API List User Call Records will slower that getting the record detail directly using API Get User Call Record.

    I hope you can make the API Get User Call Record accept telephonySessionId…

  14. "Some users show up with a RingCentral "R" next to their name, and others do not, even though all users have licenses and extensions in RingCentral. The users with the "R" have "sources" for the contact - and only list RingCentral. There are users with both RingCentral AND Microsoft Teams as their "source"

    This changes some behavior in the Teams integration. Users with both Teams and RingCentral "sources" will not display the user's extension in the contact book next to their name; instead, you have to click the user to see their extension."

  19. When I make a phone call using RingOut API, the Webhook sends out events with 2 different telephonySessionId. I know that this is a two-legged call, which will produce a telephonySessionId for each leg. But all the events sent out by a single call should have a consistent ID to help the client aware of the full flow and can decide which event to handle, and which one to ignore.
    My suggestion is having an attribute named originalTelephonySessionID in all events related to a RingOut call, its value should be exactly the same as the ID returned from the RingOut…
