I want to be able to protect my users from online scammers. If they get an email about calling Microsoft support, I want to be able to block them from calling the bogus "Microsoft Support" number.

How is this not a feature? I asked support how to SPECIFICALLY block a number for outbound calls only so no one could ring it and they just came back with information on how to block an inbound number.

Allow blanket blocking of outbound calls to specific area codes. This should be a standard feature. If certain country codes are or can be blocked to reduce fraud, outbound calls to specific area codes should be able to be blocked. Having the ability to block outgoing calls to area codes such as toll free numbers 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, 833 could allow for better marketability of Ring Central as an "elderly" friendly service in that it can be tailored to meet the needs of those that are wanting to maintain or continue to maintained a sense of independence for a loved one that may be facing dementia or Alzheimer's.

any updates? i just spoke with a RC Rep and she was dumber than a doorknob show me how to block numbers from call in and not outbound blocking

Ability to block Outbound calls for a single number in RingEX and RingCX

This is the most elementary feature on phone systems
I was really disappointed to know that they don't have it

Why they are ignoring this feature. This is the most important and basic feature.

This would be highly valued by our company as well.

It would be excellent to allow outbound blocking by all these venues, especially per account, so I could block 411 dialing for the company.

Vonage have this feature from a long time and its very basic. blocking number is a very basic and important feature.

Today, my teammate call to a number. the number is on yelp. after getting all my company information, he sent me email on my company email address, asking for $1000. He is saying that my number is in do no call list and pay me this amount, other wise I have the recording that you guyz called me and I will sue your company.
Now what should I do? why ring central don't have this simple feature?

Without the ability to block outbound numbers how can we adhere to the national do not call list??? I know Vonage has this feature available. I will very likely have to switch my service if this feature is not made available soon!

This is a great idea that should be in first place.

A major feature that should be there in the first place. We have been having a lot of trouble by not having this feature. It may lead me to look for another service and leave RingCentral.

We are getting scam emails that asks people to call an 800 number. PLEASE let us block that number.

Its an important part of our business to be DNCL compliant. This such an important feature for any calling software.
