Our office staff rely on AI Transcription when we're away from our desks, and it has been incredibly helpful. The ability to use this feature with our desk phones is crucial, especially since we are renting them. It feels unprofessional to use personal phones for work-related tasks, yet that seems to be the only way to access this feature. Since we rent desk phones, we believe it’s essential to have access to this functionality to support our productivity.

My office staff use Ring Central desk phones and we really use the AI transcription feature. But, when my staff answers their phone at there desk we have no record of the conversation that took place. It is a complete waste of money to rent desk phones and not have this important AI feature available. I do not want my people using their personal cell phones for inbound or outbound business calls. It doesn't make for a professional look asking employees not to use their desk phone, only their personal cell phone.

CALL RECORDING works regardless of phone method, but AI NOTE TAKING / TRANSCRIPTION is NOT available on VOIP/Desk Phone calls. This is critical to fix. PLEASE!

just like CALL RECORDING works on all phones regardless of method dialed or answered (via Ring Central App and physical Desk Phones / VOIP), please make AI NOTE TAKING work on VOIP physical desk phones, too. Note taking only works if a call is active in the app, which doesn't work in my situation with external VOIP headset.
Calls made from or to my desk phone get CALL RECORDING automatically and I can replay the recordings. But not AI NOTE TAKING, even when i my account settings have AI Note Taking set to ON FOR ALL CALLS.

A few people in our office use desktop phones instead of the app when making and receiving calls. We are at a disadvantage to the app users though because the AI notes do not work with the desk phones. I would love to take advantage of the feature without having to switch to using only the app.

We just purchased desk phones from Ring Central, they are connected to our network and believe the AI features are very beneficial to our efficiency

When no desk phone is paired in the RingCentral app, the AI transcribe features work. When a desk phone is paired, the button is grayed out and not useable.

While softphone is often replacing handsets, there are still a lot of handsets being used these days so it would be nice for AI notes to work with a handset if you answer with that device or make calls. It would be even better if it worked with desktop pairing. One of your target customers are users on Mitel/ShoreTel Connect who are used to controlling the handset with the desktop software.

I think a good chunk of users utilize the desktop phones (non desktop app). Phone calls placed using conference phones / desktop / non-webapp should still have AI Notes features available.

Integrate AI-powered note-taking capabilities on the softphone, even when calls are conducted on a linked desk phone. Since desk phones can be linked with softphones, implementing AI to automatically record and summarize call notes on the softphone would enhance user productivity and ensure seamless documentation regardless of the device used for the call.

Using AI Notes, some of the agents want to use the handset to answer phone calls, but it's not triggering AI Notes whenever they use the handset.
