Business SMS Booster (Shared SMS Inbox) Functionality on RingCentral Mobile App
Our organization actively uses the Business SMS Booster feature, and it works well within the RingCentral Desktop App, where the Shared SMS Inbox is fully accessible.
However, the Shared SMS tab does not appear on the RingCentral Mobile App, preventing users from accessing or responding to shared SMS messages while away from their computer.

The reason you’re not seeing the Shared SMS inbox on mobile is because RingCentral’s native mobile app doesn’t currently support the Business SMS Booster / Shared SMS Inbox feature the same way the desktop and web apps do. That limitation can definitely disrupt workflows when users are out in the field or away from their computers.

When they were initially creating this feature, who's idea was it to not allow texts from the main business number to appear on the mobile app? Texting is essentially a basic mobile device function and there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to get our texts on our mobile app. What kind of a company is this that doesn't think of basic common sense???

This is a great idea and should be implemented as soon as possible. We use RingCentral mobile apps for calls and texts all day everyday. We respond to text messages from our customers as a team and so the ability to see and share each conversation is very important.
