allow users to reorder text templates once entered
It would be nice to be able to reorganize any text templates in the list. LIke being able to drag and drop more used texts to the top and less used to the bottom.

reply to specific texts in the conversation
The ability to reply to a specific text within that same thread, to clarify what your response is directed to (like normal smart phones e.g. iphones, etc)

Very limited features available on Phone App via Text, but they're available via message (Internally)
On the RC Phone App if you go to Messages & message an employee you have the below options, but you don’t have these options when using Text in the RC App. • You Can like the message • You can Edit the Message • You can reply with Emojis None of the above options are available when using Text on the RC Application. Auto messages for none saved clients vs saved
If a new number calls that is not saved, you can have it auto set up texts that go to them. As well as a separate section for clients saved. I use this for my business and it would be helpful for clients that have not been saved yet that I can not get to yet. But I do not need the text for new clients to go to those already saved who are my existing ones.

Outbound SMS Phone Number in Contact History - Contact Center
Sending outbound SMS messages - when we send an outbound SMS message it does not display the customer phone number in contact history but instead displays a random-looking string of characters. It would be excellent if this were modified to instead show the customer's phone number instead of the random character string.

Keep file name of attachment on SMS instead of renaming the upload
Users receive uploaded attachments on SMS messages renamed to a random string of numbers that look suspicious and unrelated to the SMS message that was sent as part of the campaign/message that was sent and may not open the file that has the information that they need to review. It would be better if the attached file retained the file name that it was uploaded with so they know it is intended to go along with the text message.

Ability to edit the opt-out message in the approved campaign
Hello, currently the opt-out message that I am given the option of adding to my texts says "Reply STOP to opt out of these texts." I would like to add to the message the Spanish translation of that text. Please let this be an option in the TCR. Thank you!

SMS Segment Count visible on the RingCentral App
SMS segment count, visible on the RingCentral app when sending SMS. It will help us determine how many segment count and how much are we paying for each text we send. Like the feature already available from the "High Volume SMS App for RingCentral".

remove spam feature
Remove the spam feature as I am in a business that I have to let customers know balances especially when they are texting me and asking and if I reply to the question they ask, I am blocked.

Support for Hyperlinked Text in SMS/MMS Messages
I would like to request the ability to send hyperlinked text (i.e., clickable anchor text) in SMS or MMS messages sent through the RingCentral app.
Currently, RingCentral supports sending raw URLs (e.g., https://example.com) via SMS. While these URLs are clickable on most modern devices, they often appear lengthy, messy, and not user-friendly — especially when communicating with clients or customers.
The goal is to enable a cleaner experience where a custom label or anchor text can be used instead of displaying the full URL.

Group SMS for International Numbers
It would be very helpful to have a feature that allows users to send group SMS messages to international numbers. Currently, international texting works only for individual messages, and users receive an error when attempting to send group texts that include international contacts.

Please switch back to previous SMS format!
This week (around March 4th, 2025), the desktop version of RC changed so I can no longer see the SMS history when sending a new text message. I want to be able to type in a number or contact name and see the history of the text thread instead of a blank window with nothing of the previous messages. Please switch it back!
