  2. Customers want to add additional settings or enhance the existing keyboard shortcuts in the RingCentral app, so that they may use customized hotkeys to answer calls even while they are working on another application, and even if the app is closed, it should work.

  3. Ability to FLIP a call from the desktop application to the deskphone prior to the receiving party connecting. As is currently designed, the CALL FLIP can ONLY occur after the call has been connected. The problem with this is that once a call has been FLIPPED, hold music will play. This is very distracting to the party being called and does NOT provide for a smooth transfer. It should appear seamless to the party being called and not disrupted with hold music.

  4. Unlike the RC meeting solution, RingCentral Video doesn't allow the user to automatically receive a security notification when someone enters his virtual room using the url meeting. However this feature is useful in case the user doesn't want to secure his virtual room with a password instead.

  6. I am on the phone with Ring Central customer service right now and he is guiding me through posting this.Ring Central is false advertising that it has Group Text Messaging. The customer service rep confirmed with senior tech support that it's not true. A Ring Central user can start a group text message; however, responses from non-Ring Central phone numbers don't come back into the group, they come back individually. Which defeats the purpose. The purpose of group text messages is to keep all group members on the same page so all sent and received messages need to be held…

    - In order for the Administrator to know who accidentally placed themselves on DND on the deskphone, the status should be synced with the Admin Portal and the RC App. You may include this on the "Deskphone pairing" feature.

  14. In the favorite contacts list in the RC app, you can see the status of your favorite contacts, if they're available or on a call. But you can't see who the person is on a call with.

    In the HUD, you can see who the person is on a call with.

    Bring this feature to the favorite contact list too! I use the HUD to add contacts to my phone buttons, and don't have the same list set up on my favorite contacts.

    On the mobile app you are online only if the app is active.

  17. A small but impactful feature that other systems we've used have is an audio tone/cue when a call is disconnected, whether abruptly or when a call is naturally ended. For anyone using a softphone and using multiple windows on a screen, sometimes it is hard to know if the call was disconnected or if the window is lost somewhere on the screen. Time is spent double checking if a call is still active or not rather than having something notify you appropriately.

  18. As the title states, an emergency alert banner that can be displayed across the top of the screen similar to Rings update banner. In the event of an emergency (Fire, shooting, natural disaster, etc) the ability to quickly notify everyone in the company is imperitive. Something that can be quickly sent out from users with the correct access and that displays accross all of the Ring Central apps and programs.

  19. The customer wants the option to delete multiple voicemail messages. Instead of using the pencil icon, they would prefer to delete messages by holding the "Control" key and highlighting the voicemails they want to delete, or by using a three-dot menu option to select and delete them.
