AI Notes on Deskphones to be Viewable on the RC App
Currently, AI Notes for the deskphone are only received via email. It should also appear on the RingCentral app for better viewing and management.

Re-add the option to use 'X' when dialing another extension
When dialing another extension, the customer could use 'X' between the main number and the extension number in the RingCentral Phone app. With the RingCentral app, the option is no longer available. It is how they operated before, and they would like to have this option again.

Transfer a Call Queue Call
Customer Concern:
The customer reports that they have lost the direct call transfer option when receiving a second incoming call from a call queue.
Current Behavior:
When a second inbound call comes from a call queue, the forward/transfer button is no longer immediately visible in the app.
The customer now needs to click the “More” button to access the transfer or forward options.
Previous Behavior:
The transfer/forward buttons were readily available without the need to navigate to “More.”

Ability to dial out while there is an incoming call, after the latest update the ability to dial out while there is an incoming call is no longer available. You need to ignore the call first to be able to dial out which is inconvenient for customers that has a call queue and receiving a lot of calls.

Disable email notification in Workflow Builder
It would be helpful if there were an option to disable the email notifications to users if someone created a workflow builder for them.
Lastly, allow administrators to:
Prevent users from administering Workflow Builder.
Restrict users from creating new workflows.
Block users from executing or triggering existing workflows.
Controls should be role-based or permission-based for flexibility.

RingCentral app for Windows to start in "Compact Mode"
Now that RingCentral is retiring the "RingCentral Phone" Windows desktop app on May 19th, 2026, users are now forced to use the "standard" RingCentral desktop app for calls/texts/faxes on a PC. In the "standard desktop app" RingCentral implemented a UI feature called "Compact" mode, that somewhat mirrors how the old "RingCentral Phone" app looked.
However, every time you restart the PC the RingCentral app will start in the "larger view" and you manually need to switch it back to the "Compact View". I'm wondering in a future product update, if you can "save your preference" for the Compact View when…

Please restore the single column view in the HUD. This update has basically ruined the HUD's usability for me. Now I can't see who's calling in the HUD without stetching the window across the whole screen. No user asked for you to remove functionality like this. Our organization actively uses the Business SMS Booster feature, and it works well within the RingCentral Desktop App, where the Shared SMS Inbox is fully accessible.
