  1. Currently ringcentral uses "Superadmin" as a proxy-number to call any external forwarding numbers. I'd like this to be changed if possible as an option to select which "available number slot" would "you" like to be used to be displayed as an external forwarding number, or even some sort of a "name" behind the number as well. Thanks for reading this suggestion.

  2. I think the subject line says it all. Faxing is antiquated and we don't use it. It came with Ring Central and all that I ever get on there is spam. I don't advertise a fax number and don't want it.

  3. For larger organizations, it is impossible to remember everyone's extension. For transferring calls, we can simply press the button for the user we wish to transfer the call to, and with presence it will blind transfer to that user. This way we only need the name of who we are transferring to, not the extension.However, with intercom we must know the extension. That is impossible if you have more than a few extensions. Please add the ability to simply press the intercom button, then the presence button for the user we wish to intercom and make that work. Intercom is…

  4. When you are leaving a VM there is an option to press # for more options. This brings up a female voice prompt with more instructions. We would like to be able to upload our own voice prompt for this. We have paid for a Voice over actor for all menus. but there is no ability to upload the Voice over actors voice prompt for this Menu

  9. In a ring group, multiple call staff can be answering the phone. It would be helpful to know on Analytics which user is taking how many calls, and for how long.

  10. You provide us with a Mailbox for Groups/Queues, why not allow us to program a key on the phone showing when there are messages, and providing access to those messages?

  11. Other phone applications I have used allow the user to dock the app somewhere on screen which I greatly appreciated. It was convenient and made certain app features much more visible. This seems like a "no-brainer".

  13. It is currently not possible to pause or stop recordings when the automatic call recording feature is turned on. We would like to have that ability. The current method to pause or stop a recording is only available with the on-demand (manual) recording process. Our employees may not remember to start a recording every call - and we may have some people who call and do not want to be recorded. The same option to press *9 to pause an on-demand recording should work for automatic recordings.

  14. I would like to have an option to be able to disable the Call Waiting tone when using the RC Phone app. I would like to keep the pop-up, but not have the Call Waiting tone in my ear when a second call comes in.

  17. Many funds have cayman entities and require a dial-in for the cayman directors. This location (Cayman Islands) is not covered with existing international dial-ins.

  18. We have spreadsheets and documents with contacts shared with an office. Our new network is not compatible with the RingCentral Phone app where we could highlight a phone number, hit a hotkey and ringout the number. I've found the Chrome extension and Outlook integrations, but nothing for the other Microsoft Office programs.

  19. Doctors need to have a record of their conversations with patients. Calls are currently recorded and then manually transcribed for entry to patient records. It would be much simpler to cut and paste. RC already has the capability of transcribing voicemails, so this seems a logical extension and may be useful for other industries.
