  1. If a user has numbers for multiple states and/or countries, it would make it easier if on the dial pad, the caller id number selected will have a drop-down option so that other numbers can be selected. The main RingCentral App has it. The other integrations should have it as well.

  2. Clio is a CRM and marketing tools used by 1,000's of attorneys across the country. It would be great if Ring Central had an integration with Clio.

    Updated: RingCentral for Clio is live! Visit https://www.clio.com/app-directory/ringcentral-for-clio/ for the extension. Please note, there is a preliminary issue where the extension doesn't match phone numbers with contacts due to a phone number format issue. The extension only recognizes contact phone numbers with international standard format-- +(country code)XXXXXXXXXX versus (XXX)XXX-XXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX, etc. Our developers are working with Clio for a resolution. Hello, our development team is working on a unified CRM extension and is asking for additional and specific use case scenarios.   3. Project/task management (Glip) is very limited (and useless for us) if the work we do (tasks) can't be attributed to work done for internal (company) and external (client) projects. So we do not use Glip. Instead we use a real PM app (Zoho Projects and CRM). Please consider creating the sync/integration for Zoho Books (bookkeeping/accounting software).

  4. I navigate to my support cases, select a case, the navigation puts me into 'system status'. This seems a web design error. My expectation on bread crumbs is that enable backward traversing, this is adjacent traversing.

  5. We have been testing the Ring Central App in our Citrix environment. Users log in via Wyse terminals running ThinOS 9.1+. Since there is no Ring Central workspace plugin for ThinOS we are required to rely on HDX redirection.The issue is that Chrome/Chromium apps run with audio sandboxing making the detection of certain audio hardware (specifically microphones) impossible when the end client is running on ThinOS. The solution for Chrome has been to deploy a GPO to disable the audio sandbox which allows for the detection of audio hardware. Since the Ring Central app is an Electron app and thus…

  6. This is one of the most popular rental software, however, its downfall is its messaging, call management, and customizability. It's great as a rental software but nothing beyond that. If you could integrate with it so that everything is also attached to customer's accounts, that would be so absolutely amazing.

  7. As more departments/teams use RingCentral for Salesforce, it would be helpful if it was possible to be able to define multiple layouts for different users. That way, we can tailor which data our users need to capture.

  8. It would be a great if admins had the ability to defined canned responses (i.e. pre-defined text) that users could select when making calls. For example, when users call and leave a voicemail. This could then be added to the 'Notes' without users having to enter in data manually. Thanks!

  11. Auto log calls' is able to be enabled at a system level by the admin. We have found that 'Auto log notes' is also a very useful feature. However, users must be aware/activate this themselves. If possible, providing the same admin level control over 'Auto log notes' as 'Auto log calls' (i.e. enable/disable for everyone by default) would be helpful

  12. It would be helpful if the RingCentral for Salesforce integration allowed us to select which Record Type is used when creating Call Logs. Also, it would be helpful to enforce that only the expected values (e.g. in Picklists) are displayed to users. Presently, all active picklist values are displayed (irrespective of record type) which has the potential for errors during the call logging

  13. In Salesforce we use mandatory fields to enforce our advisors to complete relevant sections of a task/activity. It would be useful to be able to have these mandatory fields reflected in the RC component which would ensure that our advisors are completing all required sections following a call

  14. When updating calendar dates in the RC plugin for Salesforce the date displayed is in US date format - this is even with the computer set to UK date format and our Salesforce environment being set to display in UK date format too. Please can this be updated

  15. When users receive an error with RC component in Salesforce this is a very generic display message; it would help if this could display the actual salesforce error message rather than "Sorry, we’ve failed to log your call. Please try again later’"

  16. Currently we are using the Salesforce plugin only. Not supporting dependent drop down lists means we have been unable to add all of our required fields into the RC component in Salesforce; this results in the user needing to access the Salesforce task after a call to update certain fields - we are now seeing this causing errors when the call recording is added to the Salesforce task whilst the user is editing it

  17. With the RC Outlook Plug-in for Windows and Mac, the plug-in had a ribbon displayed on Outlook. Since this feature does not exist with the RC Scheduler Outlook add-in, RingCentral should make the RC Scheduler be displayed as a ribbon instead of having to click through to "New Appointment" or "New Event"

  20. Currently there is no way to make direct calls to external numbers in the RingCentral Microsoft Teams Plugin. This functionality would be helpful to make a direct call instead of only conference calls.
