  2. The customer have a system that forwards the call to RingCentral (UC) that will have a whisper that the user will hear. Please have the UC account a feature that can accept calls with whisper.

  4. RingEX for mobile needs to fully support audio for calls as a minimum, but also allow audio for meetings. Currently, users have to access the mobile handset to make or answer calls, or even see the details of a call. This means use of the app does not comply with UK law.
    Teams, Zoom phone, etc can already do this.
    Ring Central also have a blog post which says the following:

    RingCentral is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can place calls and join meetings (audio only) while staying focused on the road.

  13. When we receive faxes, I am also getting a voicemail to my phone to alert about this, and if I listen to the voicemail, it impacts the faxes and shows they have been read. Is there a way to turn off this setting, so that my desk phone is not getting these notifications?

  15. I am creating this feature request on behalf of our customer. There was an existing direct number on our RingEx user extensions and it comes with FreeDL/ softphone where in the admin portal shows the soft phone as primary number (soft phone number and direct numbers are different number). If there's a way to delete the soft phone or if there's a way to assign primary numbers in bulk setting so we don't have to do it manually.

  16. Allow users to create a generic OOO message.

    Separately, they could record the time frame they will be out of the office.

    This would (conceivably) allow them to record one message for reuse.

    Example:
    You have reached the voice mail for Veronica Lee.

    I will be out of the office from [variable-Start Date] to [variable End Date].

    I you need immediate assistance, please contact the Help Desk.

    If your request requires my personal attention, please leave a detailed message and I‘ll get back to you when I return to the office.

  19. As ISDN and analogue lines will be phased out by major EU carriers. We need to provide a different PSTN backup via the Persist Gateway for users. We would need the possibility to use a SIP Trunk instead. The SIP Trunk should offer straightforward IP connectivity and the option for a registration type of SIP Trunk.
