  1. The customer would like to customize the caller ID display on Yealink desk phones for calls routed through a Call Queue. Specifically, when a customer dials the company hotline and the call is answered by a user in the queue, they want the phone display to show additional internal information associated with the customer’s extension or account.

    Current Behavior:
    Currently, the phone displays:

    The Call Queue number that was dialed (e.g., Hotline Number), and

    The caller's phone number.

    Requested Behavior:
    Instead of displaying just the phone number in item #2, the customer would like to show custom text such as:

  2. To create a call rule where certain Contact phone numbers calling in go directly to a specific voicemail. There are hundreds of these phone numbers, so adding them one at a time to the call rule is not feasible.

  3. Tough to transfer a call in the computer app versus the phone app. The mobile app gives you a list of contacts to transfer to but the desktop app makes you enter an extension number/name

  5. The customer is uploading external contacts to the directory via a CSV file by setting the source column as "RingCentral (Default)" and wants to add these contacts to their favorites, which is currently not possible.

    Request: Enable users to mark contacts as Favorites when the contact source is set to "RingCentral (Default)" via CSV import. Currently, even if the source in the CSV is set correctly, these contacts appear in the app as "Shared Directory", which prevents users from favoriting them.   6. The are several different contacts existing. These contacts/individuals (rightly) share one telephone number. Meaning, they can be reached at the same number, e.g. telephone connection in a workshop hall or production facility. As such, as in the private addressbook it should be possible to upload multiple contact with different name and the same phone number.

    Desired outcome for the external shared directory please refer to screenshot in the comments, example taken from private addressbook.

  7. This is a common ask in the retail market like we faced during the DECATHLON project.
    This will allow for the end user to access a directory based on the following:
    -/ Global Directory (e.g. all stores) tier
    -/ Regional Directory (e.g. stores in 1 city) tier
    -/ Local Directory (e.g. specific store site) tier

    Every store is usually autonomous and needs access to his own directory and is not shared among other stores.
    In case we can’t support site directory - as a minimum the ask is to support search based on multiple criteria:

  8. customer cant remove the invited contacts under company contact list, it only has the option to resend but not to remove. the said emails cannot also be deleted from our end since the user didnt sign up completely.

  14. The termed users in the MS 365 as 'Active users', but they marked these termed users as 'Do not show in GAL' and in the RC app, these users are still showing as company contacts; their request is to not show these users in RC app.

  15. Filter contacts when transferring calls to only users with the appropriate license to receive calls.

    Users with a license that does not accept calls (ex Video Pro) show up in the company directory when transferring calls.

    Attempting to transfer a call to these users will go directly to voicemail with no greeting or introduction. This is not ideal for users as it is unclear what is happening.

  16. Ability to change the Email address from the RingCentral University when it has a different email address. Customer was able to login using the email address associated on their user ext. but on the Profile, it has a different email.

    Can you increase our companies contact limit to like 1,000,000?

    Currently the limit is 10,000 and its hurting our experience because we need all hubspot contacts in ring central for simple usage..

  19. Currently when uploading a list of external shared contacts they appear in All contacts and Company contacts. It would be much more useful if once uploaded these external shared contacts could be added to a new group for instance Vendor Contacts, Outside Sales Rep Cell Phones, etc... that could be shared with all phone system users.

  20. Customer can see their Bluehorn Contacts via the RingCentral desktop/web app. However, they are expecting to view the Bluehorn Mobile Contacts via the RingCentral mobile app, as well.
