This should set the user's extension to Do Not Disturb for normal Calendar meetings, not just Ring Central Video meetings. It should set the user's extension to Do not Disturb, so that it blocks calls to the softphone app as well as the desk phone when the user is in a meeting.

This is still not functioning as it should per the request.

657780051 UID: Thanks Angela, now I'm noticing this issue has been ongoing since 2016, and it seems the recommended course is going to the ideas forum and writing there. But that's a bit discouraging given others have been voicing this concern for 8 years and it hasn't been addressed. It's really disappointing because our company was told that Ring Central would help with some of these issues, that when our team is 'busy' or 'do not disturb' we wouldn't be disturbed with phone calls - thus our major reason for switching. Was it an intentional lie? Or do you have a sense of when the issue might be addressed?

Hi JessicaThanks for that information but it is not quite what I am after. I should have been more specific, sorry. What I am looking for an option to set so any incoming calls received, whilst the user is already on a call, divert straight to voicemail avoiding the wait time, ring number etc.With the current setting you mention having the notification pop up on screen can be just as annoying as the ringing.ThanksPeter

@Jessica Hernandez - is this going to be implemented for general calendar events at any point? Some folks are invited to Teams or WebEx or simply are in a physical meeting and it's really .... "2012" to have to change the app to Do Not Disturb manually every time a calendar event is happening.

Hey Peter! You can turn off the call waiting audio alert under Settings - Notifications - Call waiting audio alert and select Silent.

Great idea works fine. Need the same on voice calls as having an incoming call ringing away while you're on an active call is annoying.

@ADMIN RESPONSE the "implemented" solution is not what the other 'merged' idea was.We want to be able to have any synced Outlook / Google / etc Calendar Event ALSO change DND. The "solution" has ignored the initial request - for when a user is busy in the OUTLOOK CALENDAR. NOTE - This idea is merged. When using, Teams, Skype, RC, or any type of in-person meeting, not having your phone ring is an important concept. With Outlook integration, having a unified 'BUSY' presence with the option to have an automatic DND is actually not an unreasonable ask. Please flag this idea as still unresolved, or unmerge the other related suggestions.

If using the Ring Central and MS Teams integration, there should be a way for the statuses to match without having to change both of them to DND for example.

Seems like an easy fix, there should be an option that "Busy" also mean "DND" that way if you have something on your calendar (meeting, in the office or an appointment outside the office) your extension will not ring.

While you are at it, It would be extremely helpful if the Microsoft Status and the RingCentral status could match all of the time. Not just when in a scheduled meeting, but impromptu Teams calls too. I'm on a RingCentral call and someone calls me on Microsoft Teams and vice versa.

Yes, yes, yes! I was just in a zoom meeting and 3 calls came in in 5 minutes. I never actively thought about how there's no Auto-DND but this needs to be a feature!

I love that RingCentral claims it's an intended feature to receive phone calls during meetings, but I don't understand why those rings need to be at full volume while you have earphones in. This app has always been such a mess.

Get the app status to automatically change to “DO-NOT-DISTURB” when users are entering a meeting or are accepting a phone call or are in a phone call [without having to do it manually]. The D-N-D status ought to revert to the mode it was in prior to the D-N-D becoming activated [for any of the aforementioned reasons].

How does this not have more votes? This is essential and pretty straight forward.
