I totally agree with this. I have never used a phone system that hasn't had this feature. Please add - I see that this has been open since 2020 - as Nike says: JUST DO IT!

Great idea - this would save users time from rerecording voicemail greetings. Very surprised that this basic feature is not available.

Surprised this system doesn't support this. When I was testing the Teams PBX system and considering it with RingCentral as our voice provider, I was able to do this. It would be a very useful feature to have, especially with all the call control rules we have. Setting a specific greeting to call control rules could be useful when out of the office, or even to ensure internal calls get one VM greeting, and external calls get another.

The ability to set an Out Of Office voicemail greeting that automatically switches back to the Standard greeting at a selectable date and time would be ideal.

The option to record multiple voicemail greetings and easily switch between them. Specifically for an out-of-office scenario, it would be helpful to have a separate greeting users can switch to, and then switch back once they're available, instead of re-recording greetings every time.

This feature is a must have and is seriously adversely affecting our user community. Considering other options as well since this is not progressed since Oct 2020.

Another very simple Mitel feature missing with RingCentral. It sure would be nice to have real Call Handle option when changing Share Status. Out of Office, In a Meeting, Vacationing, etc. Each status setting should have custom call routing options based on the status. ie: Out of Office - Forward all calls to voicemail which is a different recorded greeting than In a Meeting status call routing.

After more than 5 years as a customer I'm seriously considering moving away from Ring Central because they don't offer this simple but essential feature.

I would agree. This is a very needed addition and doesn't seem like it should be that difficult.

Its really a deal breaker if this doesn't get added. I have lots of remote salespeople who hate that we lost this with the Mitel swap over. I hear about it so much i cant wait for my three years are up so i can find a UCaaS vendor that has it!

After 2 years (since thread posted) and multiple votes and requests this feature has not been added??? Seems like a VERY SIMPLE request...

Please add this feature ASAP and not just parked under "future consideration". It should have been a feature from day one.

Give us ability save multiple custom voicemail greetings so we can choose when on vacation

is it possible to add options to soft Phone (would be nice for hard phones as well) to press a button not (answer or not answer) but a custom prompt like some mobile phone do to send info (in a voice prompt) like on a call currently please call back and maybe some other options) Also a nice option for a custom VM to simply state Out of the office leave a message or call back at a later time.

I am surprised this is not an option. This should be standard for every license. The need to re-record the Voicemail greeting every time you want to change it is a HUGE waste of time. PLEASE add this feature ASAP!!!

+1000. This is an absolutely basic feature. Having one standard greeting as the default, with the option to switch in a different greeting (whether away for a month, a day, or an hour) is so standard I couldn't believe it when I learned RingCentral doesn't offer it.

Our organization currently has multiple voicemail greetings prepared for our reception desk, one for each holiday. This way we don't have to record a new voicemail greeting whenever we have a snow day or are out on holiday.

I agree that this would be extremly helpful! We need this capabiity added!

Currently, we only have the option to have one customized voicemail greeting. If we are out of the office for a day or a week, we have to record over the existing greeting for an out of office greeting and then when we get back from vacation, we have to re-record our regular voicemail greeting recording.
