Currently I have to determine Yealink MAC, modify URL to suit, enter the device's unique password to get Keys and Red Light behaviors modified, etc. per phone. We're smaller (60 employees)... but this is a pain point in our start as a new RingCentral customer. Not at all what I would expect in 2024.

I’m writing to request the addition of the Yealink T48U and T33G models to the list of available desk phones for key templates in the RingCentral platform. We've received several inquiries from customers who are using these models and would like to leverage the key templates feature for them.
This enhancement would significantly improve the user experience for our customers who rely on these specific Yealink models. It would also help streamline their workflows, making the overall use of RingCentral more efficient and effective.
Please let me know if you need any additional information or if there are any next steps required from my side.

We have a small office, but going in to individually adjust each user's presence every time there is a change is time consuming and unnecessary. Something as small as a staff changing means that a majority of extensions on each user has to be adjusted to maintain consistency and for ease of access. A key template would shorten this time significantly.

This idea is critical to our business. Please make this a priority. I believe there is an easy fix for the developers to implement. This fix will kill two birds with one stone. For this request, there is a work around, but it also adds extensions to the phone (which we then have to go in and delete manually), when we ONLY need them on the expansion modules for our employees, BUT I believe this will fix the key template and the expansion module issues together. The current partial work around we use is this: under templates/user settings/inbound/devices/Presence Settings/appearance - edit (then select your extensions) / select override user settings. Then apply the template to the extensions you want it on. If there was a way to skip the first say 30 or so slots the SAME way you can do it manually under any extension currently, by going under the device & numbers sections, under the presence button, then this way would work perfectly. Please make this happen ASAP. Can you please also add the ability to select Queues as well as Extensions for those buttons, as there are many occasions where employees need to transfer directly to another queue rather than a specific extension.

we were told our Yealink phones were compatible before moving to RC, but we keep finding out they aren't really. Adding key templates would be a balm to that sting.

Why would Ring Central sell and push the Yealink Desk phones and not support Key Template? This is extremely time-consuming and very antiquated.
