  4. A feature on the Messaging App, enabling one to message SMS to a contacts email. This way one could literally communicate with a contact through any medium: call, video call, fax, text/SMS, and possibly text/SMS to email.

  7. auto delete SMS after a day on a user level

    or SuperAdmin capability to manage data retention policy for a user level

    If you log in as SuperAdmin on the RC App> click on Settings > Administration> Messaging> Manage beside Manage data retention policy, you can set it to delete after 1 day. This will delete other messages too like voicemails and faxes.
    This however would apply to all users for the account so possible we can apply this to only one user.

  9. Im wondering how I can create a group that receives text messages from our main phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx. Is like this group to be able to see the messages and reply back to the messages. For example if one of our sub contractors sends a picture in to the main number of a job completion the group sees it and can reply to it

  14. Neither the Automator (beta) or the RingEX APIs allow you to respond to an incoming SMS message using the recipient's phone number unless the automation or application is running as that user. Sending a confirmation of an opt-out request (STOP) from a different phone number is confusing to the customer and doesn't leave any clues in the user's SMS history. The response should come from the user's phone number and there is no easy way to set that up.

    Also, there should be opt-out tracking within RingEX so that if a user attempts to text a customer who has previously…

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently using RingCentral for our communication needs and have encountered a limitation that we hope you can help us resolve. We have been trying to create a group text by entering phone numbers (without extension numbers) to send bulk messages and images. However, we have noticed that there is a limit of only 11 members per group text, and we are unable to add a 12th phone number.

  19. Ability to transfer a user's text messages to another

    I was using the chat bot but wanted to get a straight answer. Is it possible to transfer all of the text messages the a user has had with multiple individuals to another user? For better phrasing, all of the text conversations from one user to another?
