  1. We always chat with collegues from different time zones and raising questions like:
    - "Is it comfortable for you to have a meeting at 7:00PM EST/08:00AM GMT-6/15:00 (your city/country/etc)"

    I would like to have a button in the message window (right to the text format/file attache/emojis/gif/audio-video message).
    On click:
    - Open a window to type or select date-time from timepicker
    - Click "OK"
    - Add something like: {datetime:2025-05-02T12:30:13UTC} in the message
    - Show it for all users in theris timezone

    I see message:

  2. Need to allow Verizon Wireless SMS text notifications from Ring Central admin portal. Any singular users and user groups. All other wireless carriers allow this now, and it currently works. Verizon is not currently working and we need this fixed ASAP.

  3. Add this feature for SMS / TXT to non-internal messenger users in our group. I have a lot of external customers I've added as contacts to my RC contact directory that I'd like to do direct video SMS to vs. taking a video and attaching to the SMS text message.

Is it possible to give us a feature wherein we can see the status of messages we sent. whether it is delivered or seen and who sees it when sent to group chatroom? we are using the messages tool to communicate internally to organization members and it is necessary for us to know if the notifications are read or not.

  9. It would be very helpful if Ring Central offered online document editing, similar to Microsoft Teams. Currently, my team is able to share files within Ring Central but must download, change and re-upload. We can't work on documents simultaneously and see changes immediately. I've like to see online file sharing as an included Ring Central feature.

  11. When clicking on a GIF it automatically sends. It would be nice if it was added to the text field so we can add a message to accompany the GIF. In our office, we like to do birthday shout-outs and currently, we have to send two separate messages, one with the gif and the second with the shout-out. It would be nice if it could be one message together.

    This request already exists in the SMS channel, but it's so important in Team messaging too! Being able to schedule a message to avoid disturbing a teammate during week ends or late at night is a must have.

Currently, the RingCentral App automatically posts task-related system messages (e.g., task creation or completion) in group chats, with no way for team admins to control or customize this behavior. There is a clear lack of flexibility in how task events are communicated within teams. It would be helpful to offer more advanced admin controls — such as choosing whether or not to show these messages, changing where they're posted, or turning them off entirely. Expanding admin settings to allow this kind of customization would reduce noise and better support different team workflows.

  17. My idea is pretty straight forward. Us, as administrators of an organization on RingCentral should have access to manage Private / Public teams. As an administrator we should have access to everything within our RingCentral 'server / team' as we need to monitor our employees. I think this would be a great feature for everyone as we are confronted at this moment with this problem and there's no solve for it and I 100% was sure that there is an option which will allow us to do this, I honestly don't know how this is not implemented yet as I…

  18. I see there's a way to add your own ringtones for phone calls. I was wondering if there's a way to do the same for messages or mentions in messages? I'm being a total millennial and would love to add the AIM messages for nostalgia purposes.

  19. We have observed that our users are experiencing a significant gap in their message history within the RingCentral app, specifically from July 2021 through April of this year. We would like to inquire about the process for restoring these missing messages for our users.
