  1. I have synced my Outook365 Contacts and works well so far. It does bring my contact notes over to the address book however it only shows one tiny line.. If this could be put in a much larger text box (multi Line) and RESIZABLE this would be extremely helpful. WE use Outlook contact notes to track important details of our customers and we typically have a few paragraphs of details that would be helpful to view rather than copy and paste into a text editor to view more than one line of text.

  3. Autocorrect for the RingCentral Desktop app (I'm on Mac). It would benefit everyone...it's the only app on I have my computer that doesn't autocorrect, which is a pain while using Glip.

  8. We have users that have asked about the ability to create Sub-Folders under Personal Contacts within the Desktop APP. We are an insurance company and they believe that this ability would help to distinguish between what type of contact everyone is. Ex: a folder for hospitals, a folder for Doctors, etc.

  9. I use the app a lot for our reception line and currently when you go to "more" then "transfer", the call stays live while pulling up the extension to which you are transferring. It would be useful if the call was put on hold while the transfer was happening, especially in louder work environments.

  10. I want my clients to only see my mobile number for all calls and text / sms messages sent from my ringcentral account. I want to mask my RingCentral number with my mobile number for both calls and text/sms message.

  12. In prior version, you were able to see the date / time stamp along with the body of the text in a list format without having to hover over or click into every text. This makes it difficult to find communications. Please give an option as to how to view messages so we see more than just a list of contact names. We should be able to expand this view to see more information (i.e.: date, time, company name, phone number, body of text).

  13. We, Driving Force, do not have land lines at some of our locations and exclusively use the RingCentral app on desktop and/or mobile devices. Looking for a method to alert personnel in specific buildings (i.e., only alert those in a building that is exposed to fire or other hazard and not all company buildings). In previous "land line" scenarios, a predetermined number (e.g., 5555) was dialed which in turn triggered an audible alarm and alerted personnel to proceed to the muster point.   14. Add the ability to hyperlink to an external file or to a file stored on a network share. We have the need to link to files stored on our NAS but do not want to upload them up into the RingCentral App. If I cut and paste a link to the file location within a message, it currently isn't clickable. Tried using "", (), [], etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I think corporate users would love this :-)

  16. We use Google SSO. When we were testing the system we did not have "enforce SSO" enabled and the Google SSO button worked fine. We turned "enforce" on right before going live. SSO now does work if a user clicks on SSO button, or just enters their email, but ironically when we turned on "enforce SSO," the Google SSO button STOPPED working (even though that is the kind of SSO we are using).When a user tries to use the "Google" sign on button they are given the following error message "Your account is enabled for Single Sign-on.   17. Add firewall rules to the MSI version of RC AppOur Cornell users have been getting firewall popups that they consider frightening (see attached). This user reported this occurred after they had FIOS newly installed in their home last weekend. We are wondering if installation packages could include firewall settings appropriate for all network types users may encounter. At Cornell we centrally deploy the MSI version and our Desktop Support Team uses that to deploy and update versions on a campus-wide basis.   18. I noticed when you disable a user, it automatically removed them from every group chat/team they were assigned to. I think it would be great for an employee/user we disable to retains the teams/group chat they were assign to. Example: Employee A leaves the company --> Company's IT disable them --> Company retains the ext --> new employee is hired and takes that ext --> once reactivated, they have access to the group chats/teams.

  19. I have an admin account that is for all official calls (non-customer related) and that extension has 5 phone numbers associated with it. It would be great if the receptionist could transfer to a certain number in the extension instead of just the extension itself and then tell me which number it is calling.

  20. Call handling', setup in the portal, is used for our call forwarding functionality. As such, when a user has PA number's added for call forwarding, they appear under the 'flip' menu when on a call, unfortunately, it doesn't work for flip.
