Add URI Scheme to rcapp:// to bring up SMS Conversation
There needs to be a URI Scheme that brings up the RC app to a specific SMS conversation. Receptionist HUD View
Can we please have a more streamlined "Receptionist" HUD view that isn't full of the messages on the right and that is controlled by the Admin? Make it easier for a Receptionist/Switch Board person to easily see all user's status and drag and drop phone call transfers. Just a listing of extensions, their status and the phone. The current Phone/HUD/Extensions list is separate for each user and there is no ability to set a "main profile/look" for ALL users as an admin. Make currently in use phone number & extension visible at all times in Desktop App
I have around 5 RingCentral phone numbers. When I am in the middle of a call, I want to see the current phone number that the desktop soft phone application is using. I would like this displayed prominently in the blue ribbon at the top of the page to the right of the search field

Make the 'X' to close a pop up more visible
A lot of tickets are generated to IT when RC announce an update with a pop-up window because the X to close is transparent and people just don’t see it.However, the pop-up prevents them from using the app.Please make the 'X' more visible so that the window can be easily closed to allow access to the app.

Do not have a text send when pressing 'Enter' on desktop
In the iPhone app, pressing 'Enter' goes to the next line in the text to start a new paragraph. On the Windows desktop version, pressing 'Enter' sends the text. Please change the desktop app to be like the iPhone app so I don't accidentally send my text with only the recipient's name, or just before I put my name at the end. Please have the text send only by clicking the paper airplane.Or at least provide options in the settings for how people want to send their texts.Thank you!

(Currently, always opens too large and way off screen, so that I am challenged to grab it and get it back to where I can use it and in moving it, it stretches super-wide. It needs better sizing and docking and locking features.)

Add the line registration feature for the RingCentral app (mobile and desktop). Without this feature functions like the Call Me function...
... through the RC admin portal do not work for users only using the Desktop and Mobile app versions of RC.. We contacted RingCentral support about some of our users not being able to use the Call Me function to receive calls to their mobile and desktop apps and RC support's response was only desk phones and RingCentral Phone is currently setup to do this. They suggested we put in a new idea to get the RC desktop and mobile apps added to their line registration page (why wasn't this considered before this) so we're posting that idea here. As…

There needs to be a "Clear All" option for missed calls.
In the RC UC app, there is an option to "Delete All Call History". That option should also exist for just Voicemails, amd Missed Calls. Users should not have to delete individual Missed Calls or Voicemails. FYI, Users had this functionality in the RC Phone app.Thank you.

AUTOMATICALLY SHARE NEW CONTACTS WITH TEAM
While working remotely or in different offices, when receiving new calls, we individually add a new contact name, number and email. Yet this is not shared to the other users on our team. We were informed the procedure is to export and then import regularly, and then repeat to/from each team member? This is very time consuming and inefficient.

Receive missed call notification for delegated calls
It would be great to add the ability to received notifications for missed calls for delegated calls. Often the Executive assistant needs to return missed calls and if they do not have access to the notifications, it's very limiting.

Mobile/Desktop App - Automatic Hold After Transfer
This feature would help the app act the same as a desk phone if you are taking external calls and transferring them to other users. After taking an external call, going to call actions and clicking transfer, the caller would automatically be placed on hold as you dial an internal extension or search for a user for a warm or blind transfer. Phone number called on call logs for users on RC app
Customer would like to have their old setting that once somebody called a user they can see what phone number it came from.

Change ring volume: Ability to change ringer volume separate from the app volume (so calls don't get louder or quieter with changes)
The application allows you to adjust the volume, however that setting controls the call volume and Ringer volume. This needs to be separated into two distinct settings; Ring Volume and Call Volume. Due to the issue of call waiting not being able to be turned off, this is very necessary.

Make company extensions available for the Custom Rules caller ID settings.
At the moment I have my phone set to show the main company line when I call out, and my internal extension when I call someone in the company. Everyone in the company is set up this way. The problem is that I would like to make custom rules for the company numbers, but the custom rules doesn't allow for the entry of extensions. It seems that it only connects with my personal contacts and not with the company contacts. This is pretty annoying, and means that I either need to let my direct dial number show to the public…

Call Park without virtual number
We came from Mitel to Ring. We need the option to park a call on an extension without a virtual number. We had previously with Mitel the ability to park a call on an extension directly so the very next call they picked up would be this call and we were able to annouce the call being parked as well. Can this be an option with Ring please?
