SMS for Call Queues is coming-- as in if a text is sent to a call queue number, there will be an inbox available for one agent to respond to those SMS.
I know the core of this request is to have a shared SMS inbox where multiple people can send and receive SMS from the inbox. Our product teams are aware of this ask, but I do not have more information about if/when this segment of the ask is coming.

I got an email this morning with the contents of a text we received to a Call Queue I'm a member of. I can't believe it doesn't show up in my RingCentral app and I can't respond to the text from the call queue number.It would be great to have a group text thread for each Call Queue. That way the whole group can see if incoming texts have been responded to.

Yes, please to RCS! Text messaging is a big part of communication with our company truck drivers. It's a frustrating experience to text over SMS from RingCenral. Now that Apple has given in to the RCS standard, VOIP providers need to join in to keep up with the times.
