SMS Text Templates
I would like to be able to order the template texts alphabetically or what ever so that I can find them in a logical order. ie - all texts pertaining to Reminders, or Paperwork Due, etc. - I like and use the templates every day. I used to have a text file on the side of my RC that I would cut and paste into RC. So great addition!

Allow multiple SMS recipients for E911 notification.
Currently, E911 SMS notifications are only going through when there is a single recipient registered in the admin portal. However, when multiple recipients are added, the SMS notifications fail to send.
Having multiple recipients for E911 SMS notifications is important because it ensures that critical emergency alerts are immediately received by more than one responsible party. This redundancy helps guarantee that someone is always notified, even if one recipient is unavailable, offline, or unable to respond. In emergency situations, timely awareness is crucial, and relying on a single contact increases the risk of delayed response.

Please Remove the New "Send New Text" Pop-Up Window and Revert to the Old Format
I'd love to see the new "Send New Text" pop-up window reverted back to the old format where you could see any prior text history when sending a new text. The new popup window has a constricting feel, especially when texting someone there's prior history with that you can't see in the same way as you used to when clicking the "Send New Text" button

Group Text number of Participants should be increased from 10
Customer cannot send text in a group created by an external phone number with 21 participants.

Auto Reply Ability for User's SMS with Specific Information
The Admin Portal needs to have a feature where users with an extension can send a text message to the number, which will provide information depending on the users' questions, such as schedules.

SMS - Access granting for managers to team members SMS messages
Currently there is not a way to grant access to managers/supervisors to the SMS messages their team members send and receive. There is the ability to grant this type of access to user's call logs using User Groups. Would be great if SMS messages could be part of what is imparted with User Group permissions.

Remove keyword "CANCEL" from automatic OPT-OUT for SMS
I have advised my clients that when they want to cancel their appointment for my business to send a text message containing the word "CANCEL" to my company number. Instead of me receiving just the SMS those customers ending up on the OPTED-OUT numbers, now I have no way of sending SMS to them. Please remove this keyword "Cancel" from automatically going to opted out number, my keyword for opting out of SMS is "STOP"

As a workaround while this is being reviewed, instead of asking customers to respond with the word Cancel, you could ask to respond with 1 to Accept and 2 to Cancel.

Show entire SMS history when creating a new SMS like it used to
On the RingCentral desktop app, you used to be able to see the full SMS history when you went to create a new SMS text. Now when you create a new SMS text message, you don't see the history. It was super helpful to have the history there any time you created a new SMS message. The new functionality is not great for awareness of the most recent text message.

text to speech
For messages and texting when you highlight the message you want read it just says the person's name! Really annoying. Need text-to-speech option and then speech-to-text that's easier. This also needs to be compatible with Echo, CarPlay, etc. Need more features for the busy professional on the go please!

Allow SMS in AI Receptionist to Be Sent from Extensions Other Than the Super Admin
Summary:
In the current implementation of the AI Receptionist (AIR), the SMS messaging feature is restricted to using only the super admin extension as the sending number. This limits flexibility and usability for organizations that require communication to be routed through other user extensions or departments.Current Behavior:
When accessing the “Send Text Message” feature within the AI Receptionist, only the super admin extension is available as the sending number.
There is no option to select or assign another user extension or number.
Requested Enhancement:
Provide the ability to select from a list of eligible user extensions or direct numbers…

Upgrade Text Messaging Features to the RCS protocol in RingCentral.

Sending video clip from the mobile app
Submitting this feature request on behalf of the customer who wanted to be able to send a video clip through MMS from the mobile app, since most of their users are not tied to a workstation during the day.

Feature Request: “Text Send Failure” Message on SMS Thread Preview

Currently, the “Text Send Failure” notification continues to appear in the SMS thread preview, even if the failed message occurred long ago. This can cause confusion for users, as it gives the impression that the most recent message did not go through successfully.Suggested Improvement:

Currently, T-Mobile and some carriers block bulk SMS when sent in high volumes, causing messages not to reach recipients.
When sending bulk SMS through RingCentral, messages to T-Mobile numbers often fail if too many are sent at once due to their rate-limiting feature. I suggest adding a scheduling feature that automatically sends messages in smaller batches. This would reduce failed messages, ensure important messages reach recipients, and improve the overall reliability of bulk SMS campaigns.
