  3. I just deleted a user who was terminated from our organization today. However, we need to be able to check their text and message history as it has come to light that he may have been sending confidential information through there. I know there is no way for me to recover the information, but is there a way that you can pull messaging history from your database or to recover the user?

  4. option to view the number of the recipient/sender along/beside their name

    verbatim from cx; When I would text a client, their phone number would appear next to their name in the text messaging section. For some reason, it no longer appears. Is this a system update, or did I change a setting somehow?

  6. We really need this feature so clients can text our "support team, customer service team, etc." and allow several people on our company team be able to view & reply to these messages.

    Nextiva just rolled out with this feature last month (Feb. 2024). Let's see it already RingCentral, please! Don't let Nextiva outpace you on features. They've been rolling out really nice back to back features in the past 2 months.

  7. This is necessary for our job in order to track when we text/receive messages to/from our travelers that we work with. This update is unnecessary and is making our whole company struggle. Please put the texts back to how they were.

  8. Currently we are only able to set 1 SMS recipient inside the Auto Receptionist's General Settings. This SMS recipient is used for both our company Main Number and for all IVR Menus. We'd like to have the possibility of assigning an SMS recipient that's different from the Main Number SMS recipent to our IVR Menus.

  10. All of our users must use the RingCentral mobile app for business-related SMS/text messaging. It would be great if they could tap one icon and instantly go into the RC SMS app. Our users don't like using the RC app for SMS because there are always 2 steps - Open the RC app, then tap the SMS/text icon. They would like to be able simply tap an icon on their mobile device and go directly into SMS.

  12. there should be a send sms option in active dialpad so that the operator can send sms to the customer while on call with them instead of copying the number and sending a new sms from text tab.

    Use case: share quotes sms while on call with the customer so that they can take informed decision.

  13. The RingCX platform needs to support manually choosing which DID to use for outbound SMS. Right now, it only uses the primary DID associated with the RingEX user.

    Use Case:
    * The customer needs to use a Digital Number assigned to a RingEX user for an outbound SMS messages and not the Primary Numer (which is what it uses today)

  14. CCRN DIDs for RingCX need to support SMS handling in the RingCentral App. This works in RingCentral Contact Center today. Our existing RingCentral Contact Center needs this functionality to move to RingCX.

Please provide suggested wording for a customers website so that when they modify it, and submit for a campaign they have an "idea" of what Ring Central is looking for instead of countless rejections. Customers are getting frustrated that they get a rejection with a reason and then change it, only to be met with another rejection

  16. It would be best if we can allow SMS enable to a Korea numbers in RingCentral Account. The users who are based in Korea would able to send and receive SMS using their Korea numbers in RingCentral Account.

  18. Consistency of SMS service to Canadian phone numbers, as some customers are having issues sending SMS to Canadian numbers as well.
