  1. any inbound call no matter if answered, gone to voicemail or text, the inbound call should get a automatic text message from your RC number thanking then or whatever message you wish to be sent out to the the inbound caller.

  2. Currently, there is no auto-reply to the sender if the RingCentral number they are sending a text to is disabled for SMS.I am requesting to have a system-generated reply to a sender if the RC number they are sending a text to is disabled for SMS.

  4. Some users never setup e-mail or look at txt messages the admins should have the option to be able to clean up these messages. would be also nice to have a sort options to list whom has the most saved or not viewed messages to see what clean up might be needed

  7. Clinics as well as other verticles are requesting more inbound texting capabilities to Groups of users. We have done a few work arounds using the Company SMS Text Setting to a Virtual Extenson with a common login for all users, This requires them to run either two RC Apps at the same time or use the RC App as their primary end-point and then use WebRTC as an example for their secondary External Inbound/Outbound Group Texting. In this case, the clinic uses texting for patient scheduling. This is replacing OhMD for this particlular clinic.

  8. Ringcentral would provide a dedicated email address tied to the account. When emails are sent to this address, they are converted to sms messages sent to the number associated with the account. This is useful for IOT devices where foreign equipment can send email alerts only. These email alerts would then be received by RingCentral and converted into SMS messages.

  9. We need the Company Fax/SMS Recipient to include multiple people. The issue is when moving a call queue number to an IVR menu, the recipient of fax and text goes from the call queue member list down to a single user extension only in the site IVR settings. It is a limiting factor.

  10. Being able to export entire text threads could allow us to file information to keep for future use. It would be easier to communicate with clients if we can more easily refer to past conversations.

  12. We are a healthcare company and provide some mental health services to our community through telehealth using RingCentral. We need to have the ability for our clients to reach their doctors and therapists via phone calls, but do not want the clients to have the ability to text our doctors and therapists. Having the ability to block text messages while still allowing phone calls from the same number would be a valuable feature to us and I would imagine other organizations as well.

  14. We receive texts to our main phone line, however only 1 person is able to view, read, respond to those messages. We need the ability to view, receive, send texts from this main line regardless of the user. This is vital for our Customer Service/Customer Experience Teams to ensure that all customers are taken care of if someone is on vacation, sick, or other reasons for unavailability.

  16. Our company has numerous on call managers that our staff contact, primarily through texting. We need a way that an employee can text one Manager Line phone number, and depending on which manager is "on call" (i.e. who is set to available in the ring central app) that manager can receive that incoming text message and then choose to reply to it either from their own softphone extension, or respond as the or Manager Line so that the employee contacting us only interacts with one text line. With COVID and curbside checkins, it would be great if when customers arrive, they could send a text to our main number letting us know they are here and we could have that forward to multiple ringcentral extensions/numbers and receive the text on multiple computers via the RingCentral Phone app.

  20. Background: Customer asking to add the ability on O@H to use the main company number as the outbound SMS number for all users on the mobile app.

    Problem: Unable to use the main account number as the outbound SMS id if NOT logged in as operator extension.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Login to O@H mobile application using direct extension (not operator)
    2. Compose new SMS

    Actual Behavior: If they are not logged in as operator extension, they can't use the main number as the outbound SMS id.
