This has been scheduled for over 2 years and not completed. As soon as I have a little free time, I'm going to find our company a new VOIP provider. Others on here should do the same so they get the message.

Adding to this pile, we need an update. We're a RingCentral partner that work with small businesses to implement RingCentral and this is critical to most companies we work with.

This is a deal breaker. We are shopping for new VOIP provider, and are waiting for the right time to switch.

Can you PLEASE provide another update since it is Q4 and this feature is still not live. Like many businesses on here, we are considering switching VOIP providers as this function is highly important to our business!!!

When is this going live? PLEASE let us know!! I also may need to switch providers if this cannot get sorted out quickly.

RC product manager should provide the 650+ commmets an answer if this is being delivered thru RC vs a TPA.
It’s been promised for a long time.

We would like to be able to text from our main number otherwise it is difficult to monitors text messages when they are going back to individual users. Clients call the direct number back versus calling the main number which shortcuts the workflow.

Extremely important feature that needs to be added, any updates on timeline?

This is an important part of communicating with our clients and is critical to keeping communication via the main line and not veering off to different phone numbers which may at some point in the future be disconnected or changed. This also allows us to work with our clients as a team and reduce frustrations on their part responding to multiple different people, repeating what they have already said.

Update on timing since we are now in Q4 2024?

Any update on this, RC? It's Q4 and this is a critical feature that we're struggling without.

This is an important feature for us. Prior to porting our number to Ringcentral our last provider allowed us to choose which phone number we texted from, either our own or the company main line. We can call from the main line on RC but cannot text/receive texts. Rather, they are now going to a single inbox and we are forced to address them via email. Beetexting appears cost prohibitive for a basic feature.

Majority of our clients text our main office line. It would be so much easier for both us and the client if this feature was available!

I feel that it is important for our patients to send and receive texts and calls from the main number. It creates confusion when you received from several random numbers.

THIS IS CRITICAL FOR OUR BUSINESS!!!

This needs to be addressed ASAP, multiple SMS capabilities exist on other platforms natively.
