Option to display original callers name on AI transcription during transferred call.
Currently, when a call is transferred, the AI notes are showing the whole phone call as the original employee. Customer would like to show the original caller/client's name when call is being transferred during AI transcription

commentedFor those taking many service calls throughout the day, it's important that the AI notes reflect who we're speaking with. If we have to edit the notes for every single call, it makes us less efficient and defeats the purpose of having the call notes.

commentedWhen I review AI notes, I need to know which one of many contacts at a business I spoke with. This update is critical.

commentedIt would be very helpful to know who's calling in but also how the phone call was process through our system.

commentedIt would be helpful to know who is correctly calling in so I can answer the call correctly & remember who it is and to also have their phone number displayed in case the call should drop and I have a call the number back.

commentedThe RingSense Transcript uses the correct naming convention for these calls. Can we apply the same in RingCentral EX, since we know it's possible to be correct? This seems like a defect in the basic version of EX.

commentedIt would be much more helpful and clear if we could see the client's information and not the receptionist name

commentedNotes think our entire call is with the receptionist which gets confusing. We would like it to show who the caller/client is for clarity.

commentedDisplaying a caller’s name and phone number alongside an AI transcription is essential for context, clarity, and accountability. It helps identify the speaker, supports accurate follow-up, and ensures the conversation is tied to a real person. This information also aids in organizing transcripts, linking them to client records, and maintaining compliance in regulated industries. Without it, the transcription risks becoming disconnected from its purpose and the people involved.

commentedIt is important for RingCentral to make changes to the AI transcription and call summary to show who we were talking to instead of making it seem like we talked to the person who transferred the call to us, usually the receptionist. After the call is transferred, it should show the caller's name/phone number.

commentedIn RingCentral EX, the AI transcription and call notes should display who I was talking to. If I was talking to a receptionist, it should show their name, after the call is transferred it should show the caller's name/phone number. Currently, the transcript shows that I was talking to the receptionist for the whole call. This is incorrect. I would like to mention that in RingSense AI the transcription is correct. It shows when I was talking to the receptionist and when I was talking with the caller.
