Have a tone when a new message is received
When I'm not staring at the Ring Central app, I've learned that I miss several messages due to no audio alert. Would it be possible to have quick short ding when a new message is received?

I suggest order of messaging should be maintain in case of reply
in a group of 3 persons let us say person A added a comment
person A added another normal message which is related to first message
now let us say person B added a reply using reply button on person A's very first message, now it will appear as latest, breaking the order of messages which makes it hard for others to read the conversation for example person C won't be able to read the messages in order which can confuse him even though it has timestamps

Input Mode Improvement
I would like to provide some feedback regarding an issue I encountered while using the app.
I prefer using the rich text input mode in conversations. However, every time I switch to another conversation, the input mode resets to plain text mode. This is quite inconvenient for me.
It would be great if the app could remember the input mode I used last time, or provide a select setting to choose the input mode. This feature would significantly enhance the user experience.

option to send disappearing text
Hi Team,
It would be great to add a feature to send disappearing text to send important password etc that disappear in a minute or so.

emergency flag
for Glip, Id like to see an emergency "@" mention so if someone "@" your name and its an emergency, the "@" would be in red rather than orange. Just like outlook with a "!" added to show importance above other glips.

Keep view position in one chat when switching to another and come back
When you work simultaneously with multiple chats you often read conversations somewhere in the middle. Like searching for quotes in one chat and posting them into another. Each time when you return back to one of such chats you are in the end of conversation and have to scroll up to get to the place you have left. So the proposal is to keep chat positions as for instance Telegram messenger does.

Joined label for private groups
It's understandable that being able to see the private groups in search results implicitly means you have joined them. But with only a locked icon next to them in comparison to the "Joined" label for the public groups, it can be a little confusing. I think an explicit "Joined" label for the private groups can make the search results less confusing.

Ability to send a voice message blast.
Columbia University would like a way to send a voice message to all or segment of employees. This message could be an emergency message, president greeting or some type of employee notification such as benefit enrollment

show only unread chat group
When click "unread" tab, it shows folders for unread chat groups. Can we only show unread chat groups without folders? It's a little bit annoyed to click the folder. And in fact, there is no unread message in some folders.

Messaging: Subfolders
Currently, you cannot add subfolders in the RingCentral app for organizing messages. Having subfolders would be great to help with organizing conversations, especially when you are a part of hundreds of teams but don't want your sidebar to be full of each individually listed folders. A multi-leveled approach would help maintain a clean UI while boosting efficiency in communicating via chat.

Add call log within a direct message
co-workers often request or state they need a phone or video call. It would be helpful to a record of made, or missed calls within a chat to confirm if that call had been made/attempted. The video and phone shortcuts are within this chat, just show me a time stamp of when they were used within the chat.

Message Notification
When the message screen is the main active window on my computer, I don't get an audible message notification. When another window is active window I get notifications. It would be useful to always get a notification in case I'm away from the computer that way I'll know someone is trying to reach me.

Message Layout
In the app for messaging, could the message we sent be on the right side of the screen like in Teams, and the other members messages be on the left side? It's so hard to read right now with everything on the left side.

Canned Responses
Give user's the ability to create, edit, delete, store, manage and use Canned Responses in all RC App messaging. Rather than continually typing the same/similar responses over and over, allow the user to select from their Canned Responses.

Admin have ability to monitor all employee chats live
As admin we can monitor calls easily, but there is no way to monitor chats between employees or in teams you are not a member of. You should be able to monitor chats the same way you can monitor calls. An admin should also be able to delete teams created by non admins.
