  1. If a user doesn't show up for work (calls out sick, for example), their Available/Busy status cannot be updated by anyone else, so all other users see their presence as whatever their last status was, and they think that the user is at their desk when they are not there. It would be helpful if an Admin user could change other users' Available/Busy status, and the presence message, so that all other users would know the true status of the user.

  3. Due to high pfishing and maliscious attacks with email, we would like to be able to receive MFA authentication via SMA/Text messaging like other major apps. It is much faster, and easier to accomodate if you are already on a phone call, or dont have access to email at the moment. For desktop and Chrome app please. Or Mobile if applies.

  4. The customer service quality is awful and a waste of the customer's time. I'm not sure if it's a lack of training, the representatives are not trained enough on how the platform works or have hard time understand language. It could be a language barrier. Either way, it makes the situation hard in attempt to solve the problem because being on the phone is hard enough.   6. Retail/Hospitality customers need the ability to remove message completely for small number of users but have enabled for the greater account. Currently there is not a way to support this as the custom role will remove messaging completely at the account level. This prohibits adoption for the greater team and pushes customers to use alternate messaging products. This applies to both Mobile App (some use IPADs) as well as the Desktop App.

  7. I would love it if I could receive toast banner notifications alerting me to new incoming message(s) (eg. direct, minitalk, or messages posted to a team). Currently it appears I can only get sound notifications, emails that show up at a 15 minute increment or a getting the Icon to bounce. I currently have my icon set to bounce once. Often times I miss that clue if I turn my head away too long from my screen.   9. It would be helpful if I was able to create folders on the fax tab to separate faxes by day month and even year as well as importance of the received fax. This will be helpful in terms of not deleting previous faxes that have been received and not printing out the faxes as we are trying to be paperless.

Until a couple of weeks ago, RingCentral had the ability to search for every time a word appears in an SMS conversation.For example, if I was texting Bob about pizza, I'd be able to see the messages containing "pizza" from yesterday, a week ago, and a month ago.This feature disappeared at some point in the last few weeks, and it's made SMS search pretty useless as a result.Now if I search for "pizza", it just returns the most recent time it was mentioned in my conversation with Bob.   13. Currently the new RC Video is not able to link to Microsoft on premise exchange / Outlook. The only options to link a calendar are Google or MS 365. I must say I understand the move off of the Zoom platform but to ask people to be moved off by March 8th 2021 and lose these necessary features makes it very difficult.Thank you in advance,Derek

  14. You should block reported user/s who perpetuated cybercrime using your flatform. There must be a way to flag and block the account if it is determined as fraudulent. I am in communication with one right now whom I verified as job recruiter scammer whose aim is obtain personal information and conduct a fraudulent bank transaction

  16. Contact presence should show words like available, unavailable, in a meeting, etc beyond just the colored dot. Currently, when dialing a phone you have to click on the contact name to see the presence status. Also, a gray dot may not be readily understood.

  19. Attached I have a text chat with 4 URLs in it. For some reason RC is only parsing one of them as a URL. The rest behave as plain text. Position in the message doesn't seem to matter either, if the .org URL is in the middle of a message it will still be parsed as a URL and RC will create a hyperlink for it.
