  2. Although the intent is to empower our users, we as a Firm do not want our users to do self-help. We want to be able to manage what our user community is able to do. We request that the "Resource Center" allow clients to control by hiding or disable the option.

  3. It would be helpful if I was able to create folders on the fax tab to separate faxes by day month and even year as well as importance of the received fax. This will be helpful in terms of not deleting previous faxes that have been received and not printing out the faxes as we are trying to be paperless.

  10. Needing the ability to control what RC apps display as well as a feature to disable the internal messaging platform formally known as glip. We have a messenger internally already that's heavily integrated with our current systems in place and having two platforms is grounds for disaster.

  11. Hello, I think one of the most problematic things about Ring Central is that the user interface was designed by/for tech people, not typical end user. When making any user interface, you must design for the least technically skilled. You must walk the person through, and use simple, concise, explanations of what you are doing with them. Ring Central has a massive amount of options that instantly overwhelm. This needs to be fixed for the purposes of what a typical, day to day need would be, for the front line user.   12. Due to high pfishing and maliscious attacks with email, we would like to be able to receive MFA authentication via SMA/Text messaging like other major apps. It is much faster, and easier to accomodate if you are already on a phone call, or dont have access to email at the moment. For desktop and Chrome app please. Or Mobile if applies.

  13. currently when I want to call a co-worker from the Android/iOS app I have to either memorize their extension, search their name in our company contacts, or scroll through the company contacts to find them.Adding a Home Screen or even the HUD from the desktop app would allow me to call my most commonly contacted people without taking the extra steps of finding them.

  14. I would like the ability for anyone in the organization to send a message to my Service Desk team, that would only be visible to the sender and the team.   16. Cisco Jabber recognises your location based on network info. If it's not a network it recognises, it asks you to define a new location. For example, if you're working 2 days in the office 3 days at home, then once you've added those two locations, it automatically recognises where you if the app uses that location to set the emergency location then it saves the user having to do it manually every time they log in and they can't make a mistake.

  18. I have "personal" contacts in the RingCentral app (not synced from Google etc). These are often just added from the call history, then I add a company name.If one of these contacts calls, the company name doesn't show on the inbound call popup (or macOS notification). The company also doesn't show in the Personal contacts list.On the mobile version of the app, it shows the company name for inbound calls, and in the Personal contacts list, so this seems to be a bug specific to the desktop version.The work around I've found, is to just put the company name into…

  19. Currently the process for a user to change their Avaya password and/or PIN is tedious. It is 8 clicks within the web portal to complete and the Change PIN option is buried inside Change Password, which is misleading for users until familiar with the process. I would like to propose "Change Password" and "Change PIN" be quick access options in the portal when you click your account name or be links in the Resources pane on the right when you first log in.
