  1. I need to be able to at least answers calls using Android Auto. Currently, it just rings to my phone and I'm not able to grab my phone and answer it while driving.

  3. I'm an attorney. Text threads/strings have become a source of evidence in many litigation cases. I regularly ask my clients to provide me with an entire thread. Some will send me multiple screen shots. But, some send me the entire thread printed out chronologically; not a screen shot. I thought RingCentral, being a cutting edge company, would have that capability. You don't. I think you should add that capability.

  5. Whenever there's a new user, the admin will need to configure the intercom and presence one by one. IT will be helpful to just apply a template for it.

  6. The old RingCentral softphone app had a feature where you could see other numbers entered into the user profile in RingCentral when you searched for someone in the phone app. This allowed for you to put in Mobile numbers along with RingCentral numbers and see those in searching the public address list within the app. The new RingCentral app does not do the same. I created a video and will attach it to better explain what I am talking about.

  7. W would like to be able to temporary forward all calls to an extension to another ringcentral user. Example one user closes down for the day and would like to forward all calls to another agent in the office using a cell phone app

Some SMS messages are blocked due to restricted words as per CTIA guidelines - https://api.ctia.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/190719-CTIA-Messaging-Principles-and-Best-Practices-FINAL.pdfRingcentral could have a prompt or notification that will advise users that the SMS did not go through due to the above mentioned.Ringcentral could also have the information about the prohibited words under the Terms of Service.

  10. When signing up for RingCentral, a default team was created for our business. New users are automatically added as they create their RingCentral user accounts. However the default team maxs out at 15 members and will not allow you to add more. Quite annoying as I have to create another team to allow all users and now there is a "phantom" team of the first 15 members to join because I am not allowed to delete it.

When you click on that "click here" link, from an email notification that you've received a text, it actually takes you to: https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/p/ringcentral-apps (which has nothing to do with where you really want to be), which is here: https://app.ringcentral.com/phone/sms . The link in the email notification cited above takes you to "Ring Central App Gallery". I'll trade you my kingdom for this streamlined simplicity ;p).....

  12. Allow the outbound caller ID drop-down to be sorted alphabetically. It is this way in the mobile app but not the desktop app.

  13. Super admins for RingCentral accounts can't change any Glip team settings unless they created the team or the creator makes them an admin of the team concerned. They cannot view a list of existing teams.Add a fully functional Glip admin screen

  14. Team profiles might contain nformation and static resources about the team, such as documentation, links to get help, etc. Link in this area are NOT clickable, but they should be. Copy/pasting a link is time consuming.

  15. It would be helpful to be able to send a group message directly to a team or department rather than having to input each individual person's name. For example, if I'm not a part of a specific team but want to send them a message, I would simply create a new message and enter the department/team name and then it would send a message to everyone within that group. This would be helpful for those trying to contact a department that they aren't a part of and don't know each individual in the group.

  16. We noticed there was a contact listed that is no longer with us -- and is not part of the Web Admin Portal user list at all. Chat support said they'd need to manually request a deletion since there is no way for me as an acct Super Admin to do this in the App or the Web Portal.Chat support also said of a "team" a super-admin is not by default an admin -- and I had to have a random employee who setup a team give me team access so I could delete it since it wasn't necessary.

  17. Change the color of the "green" available light/icon to a brighter shade. The lack of contrast makes it hard to see rather or not the user is available on most devised. A much brighter shade or different color all together would make it easier to see

  18. There is no way to shrink the window and show more of the name under tasks. When shrunk, most data lost, when enlarged, lots of blank space. I'd like more control over the window size/shape on my desktop.

  20. Participant sort list seems random, should be able to sort by alpha, surname, who's unmuted/talking, etc. Seems to be a huge missing feature. Additionally, the fact that the participant list seems to randomly change order is problematic when trying to use the list.
