  1. It would be nice to have the option to hide contacts list from certain users. Not all users need to have direct access to a company's CEO for example.

  5. My headset that works with my phone, doesn't work with the Ring Central App. This has cause me to miss calls. Could you please either allow any headset that can work with your phone to work with the app, or start adding a lot more headsets to the list of ones that will work? The list I have seen online is rather small.

  6. This allows the company staff to gather important information from each customer conversation and interaction. Using draft as a way to utilize this approach but risky as it could be accidentally sent to customer.

  7. Allows are users to easily access voicemails. This also allows agents to know if the voicemail is unheard or heard, and easily call a customer back.

I had a client that needed to keep many of their call recordings/video meeting recordings for training purposes and while downloading them by hand works they had mentioned that it would be way more of a streamlined process if there was an option to do that automatically much the same way we can do with some of the reports in the Analytics Portal.

  9. I had a script that controlled a lamp to let others know when I'm on a call based on the position of the status icon. We didn't upgrade our RingCentral app and now it has been moved with no heads up. That's not cool.

  10. Other provider solutions do not require a DID to be assigned to an extension in order to use a desk phone or make external calls. There must be some way to provide this functionality in RingCentral in the future.

The RingCentral plugin in SFDC only allows us to log the call to 1 single ticket (related to case)In the example attached , a customer was called to follow up on 2 cases, but only one of them could be selected under "related to" This call should be reflected in both cases and not just one option.

  13. User doesn't have "Use HD for my video." on his Jupiter app and web app.Device: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz"Use HD for my video is not available on desktop app and web app on customer's end.

  17. Let's say you are a sales person, so you have a lot of incoming calls, right now with how this feature is enabled for every single call it pops a record. I come back from lunch and I have 30+ records open because of calls that came in while I was away from my desk.   18. As a home health provider, we do a lot of faxing to doctors. We have many doctors who work out of the same clinic, so they share the same fax #. If I send a fax to "Barry Bond MD" at fax # (810) 620-8113 from the RingCentral Desktop App, the fax cover letter will default to send the fax to the first alphabetical contact that shares the same fax number, instead of putting the contact name on the cover letter of the contact that I selected.   19. There needs to be a URI Scheme that brings up the RC app to a specific SMS conversation. Something like: rcapp://sms?number=<phone number>.RC has implemented various other URI schemes for some functions in RCApp, but not to get to SMS? https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/basics/uri-schemesI strongly feel that RC needs to be to expose the complete functionality of the RC app via a complete set of URI schemes.   20. Can we please have a more streamlined "Receptionist" HUD view that isn't full of the messages on the right and that is controlled by the Admin? Make it easier for a Receptionist/Switch Board person to easily see all user's status and drag and drop phone call transfers. Just a listing of extensions, their status and the phone. The current Phone/HUD/Extensions list is separate for each user and there is no ability to set a "main profile/look" for ALL users as an admin.
