  1. In the older days, phone systems would have a hot button programmed on the desk phone that you could touch that would either put your phone system into "closed" mode or "wake up" "open" mode. This manual bypass would allow you to activate normal operations without having to go in and program special hours, for those occasional holidays or special days you open outside of normal schedules.   2. We receive many inbound spam faxes to our Users. All our faxes should go to our Inbound fax number so I'd like to remove all other DIDs from the inbound fax receipt. Support says I cant do it without disabling ALL inbound faxing. Case 15124796 - Block inbound faxes in local DID numbers

  3. In our agency, some extensions are really tied to the program role, not the user. For example, our front desk staff. If a person who was in the role of our front desk support moved to a new job in the agency, they would not be keeping their extension number or direct dial number. It would best stay as a Front Desk line, as that has become known in the community as a front end contact point.   4. I cannot download the Ringcentral App on my Chomebook computer since it does not have Windows. Ringcentral app does not support the ChromeOS operating system.

  6. When an incoming call appears on the screen of my Yealink phone, the caller's # is just one long string (i.e., 1234567890 vs 123-456-7890), which makes it particularly cumbersome (to me anyway) to try and copy it down.

  7. Please provide the ability to record more than one VM greeting, ex. Standard, Out-of-Office, and Extended Absence Greetings and then the option to select each as needed. Currently, I set a Standard VM greeting but when I am out-of-the-office, I have to record a different greeting which overwrites my Standard, and then I have to re-record that when I'm back in the office, and the cycle continues. This request benefits anyone who uses Voicemail.

  9. Our phones are setup so that all calls forward to a specific extension (e.g. user 1) and then a ring group simultaneously rings all other extensions. If user 1 picks up the call and wants to give the call to a different extension, the call can be placed on hold and any other extension with presence enabled can pick up the call (no transfer needed).   10. I cannot receive phone calls with this system for 2 factor login authentication. If this isn't resolved I'm going to have to go back to the landline. Every bank is now requiring 2 factor as well as many other website logins. Please support this app & resolve this problem!

  13. External caller transferred to an extension that would just ring a pager and hang up.We have a phone line displayed outside of our shop that a truck driver can call from their cell phone. The idea would be that the driver enters an IVR menu and is promted to press 1 (helps avoid spam too.)   15. Imprivata is a secure MFA solution typically installed on a device such as a cellphone. Since we are not issued cellphones, RingCentral is our only business solution for phone and SMS, it would only make sense for Imprivata to function through RC as well.

  16. If you program park keys as a presence key there is no park hold recall timer. Ring Central only offers park hold recall for global park keys and not for the presence park keys.

  17. There is no available German spelling checker on the RingCentral Phone App. The only ones availalbe are EN (UK), EN (U.S.), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), French (EU), French (Canada) and Portuguese (Brazil).

  18. This would be great when trying to join a call that uses a pin/number password to enter. For instance, you dial a number, and in the options afterwards, you have to enter a pin. On your mobile phone you can enter something like 111-111-1111,,,1234. Apparently, RC does not have this feature. Please add it.Thank you

  19. Currently if a customer calls a direct line it will only display their phone number and not their name with it. I feel like its a step back to not be able to display the callers name. I know not all phone providers show someone's name when they call but with our old system when I would call my direct line it would show my full name, now with this new system only my cellphone number is displayed.

  20. Set Do Not Disturb when RCV, Teams, Zoom or WebEx meetings in progress. Incoming calls on RC are quite disruptive and persistent on both laptop and mobile device unless the user intentionally switches softphone to DND. Not ideal to go back and forth with this for each meeting or ad-hoc call that happens throughout the work day.
