  1. If a user is in an appointment, away for an extended period, or on lunch, it would be helpful to forward the calls to a receptionist. Currently the call forwarding feature can only be enabled during specific times. It would be helpful to allow the user to enable call forwarding by changing their status to "do not disturb" or adding a new "call forwarding" status. That way it can be easily enabled when they know they will be away.

  3. My French client would like to dial 4 digits with the area code : For example, he wants to call 3436, he will dial +33 3436.Or adding this number to an extension within the account, and allow the call with this extension.

  5. Teams requires only 3 network rules to completely control all aspects of Teams Voice and Audio traffic. RingCentral requires 18 service entries and 44 separate CIDR block entries. This is very Frankenstein, please consider consolidating your services. It is very error prone due to the vas number of rules needed as well as enormously time consuming to implement.

  7. In order for French users to dial locally, users need to have the ability to dial internationally. This is not logical and could create a risk for News UK due to financial impact

  8. Subscribers that have relationship with Google or a third-party using Google for advertising purposes been having call forwarding issue. Subscribers need to reach back to their advertising vendor or Google directly to disable call forwarding rule.

  9. Currently, if you double-click a phone number in the call history on the desktop app it initiates the call via the computer. Looking for method where it will initiate the call on the desktop phone instead. Need to use desktop phone for the call and have ability to mute computer so that other applications are not interrupting the call (also preference to use the phone for speaker phone mic). Only option I've found so far is to instead manually type phone numbers, which is inefficient compared to other tools used in past.

  11. If you set your status for your extension, it displays it beside your name in the messages section. If you change your status, all prior messages also show the new status you enter. This doesn't necessarily work well. What your status is -now- should not be reflected in your previous messages before you changed that status. It should stay what it was at the time you send that message. If I had a status of "Working on fix for E-mail" at 5pm on May 10th, and I send a message to a Team with that status, it should keep that…

  15. I'd like to know if there is a link I can access directly to easily find the contact history of a client. This would be a huge support for our workflow.For example:app.ringcentral.com/contact/8183368339would ideally show the texting history, call logs, voicemails of that number....The link should ideally include the number, that way I can create a formula on my spreadsheets to search and open any number with just one click of a link

  16. I use the app a lot for our reception line and currently when you go to "more" then "transfer", the call stays live while pulling up the extension to which you are transferring. It would be useful if the call was put on hold while the transfer was happening, especially in louder work environments.

  17. It would be nice to tag messages as they relate to a specific subject. Then when you need to filter through your messages you can sort by "tag" and find the information you need related to the relevant subject.

Different types of team require different retention periods - for example we have project teams where the retention period will vary by project life and more social teams where we only need a short period. At the moment, all periods have to be set to the longest. I would like this to be a setting controlled on a team by team basis.

  19. The majority of our users use deskphones. To help ensure that all voicemails are attended to in a timely manner it would be helpful if on the RC Portal next to the Msg column if there was a date/time stamp indicating the last time the mailbox was entered. We have several hundred phones and Support's recommendation of accessing each voicemail box is not feasible.

We take a high volume of in-bound calls and would like to utilize auto answer but there are preselected choices of 0s (too fast, phone doesnt ring), 5 seconds, 10 sec, etc. 5s isnt fast enough as the phone will ring 1-2 times before auto answers grabs the call. Having a customizable time would let us know there's a call coming in and then answer it promptly.
