  2. Hello RC teamCan you implement something similar to a vonage modem where I can have any normal phone hooked with a telephone cable to a modem. At this time, dependency only on VOIP phones is outdated. Having the ability to use the regular phones as well would be great.Thanks.

  4. RingCentral, in a massive oversight, does NOT allow members of a queue to all share incoming voicemails or faxes to a business. This wouldn't be all that traumatic....if you could share VMs or faxes with collegues in either individual or batch form through any RingCentral App. Sure you could share the email notification you receive because every single email service offers forwarding, however you encounter the inconvenience of no speech-to-text......I'm not sure why this is a problem with any web based soft phone in 2021......   5. Hello,I'd like the ability to be able to create custome roles for users, I have a user who needs to be able to review reports and user information but because of security concerns we do not want this user to have super user access to the platform. Please add this feature as soon as possible.

We have users that are what we call "Customer Service Reps" Primary function is to take inbound calls from the queue, while they won't get presented a second call from a queue, they are getting interrupted by DID calls and Transferred calls, this really kills their work flow and focus, having to ignore or send to voice mail calls that come in while they are working a call.   10. We have 80 devices on site, the base unit would create a dial tone for incoming calls this has now stopped working for all users across the site. It works for Microsoft teams. We are using epos connect to configure the devices via an online portal. Previously logged a ticket with support 12818533 but could not come to a resolution.

  11. By default, you can choose extensions to private parking which can do both parking and answer parked calls. Hope there will be a toggle button to choose extensions that can only park to that group and separate toggle button for the ones that can accept that parked call.

  13. The Kindle Fire is a low cost widely available android tablet. Many people, including me use these as inexpensive work platforms for email and phone. The old phone app version used to work just fine on the kindle fire, it would be helpful for me and others if the new phone app was backported to allow it to run on these devices.

  14. You have a feature for, what you call, Integrated Calling. You can see it from here.https://support.ringcentral.com/article/9126.html#ReceiveIncomingCallIn that link you state that it can be disabled so that the user does not have to see the Ring Central call on their native call app history, but the user can still have the Ring Central app installed to make and recieve calls.   15. When adding files to chat or Teams we only have options for Local Computer. In the administration settings -> Manage file sharing please add Box and other cloud file storage options for us to enable.This is for the new RC app, not the classic which does have this option.

  17. Please make a RingCentral ios app that is compatible to phones prior to IOS 12 because not everyone has Ios 12 on their Iphone or Ipad. It would be useful to make a Lite version that supports devices from IOS 8. Only minimal features needed. The former RC Meetings app supports it but the new RC is too hard on device requirement.

  18. In Classic version I could add a comment/reply that would be visible to users everyday of the task. So on Monday I could make a comment and on Thursday that comment is still visible on a daily repeat task. On the new version a comment made on Monday is NOT visible unless I go hunt for the task that was closed on Monday, even when its a repeating task (done every day).

  19. When creating accounts individually or in bulk, please change the default call handling to 4 rings / 20 sec on desktop and mobile apps and/or change slider for "Always ring for at least 30 seconds before forwarding". This is primarily needed to avoid missed calls. No one would ever set their phone to ring for 1 ring / 5 seconds.

Currently, the only way for Super Admins to control the text recording would be under the Administrative settings in the RingCentral app. Super Admins can enable or disable message data exports for users. Along with that, there should also be an option for Super Admins to enable text capture/record in the User Template. Video recordings should also be controlled by the Super Admins as well
