    Currently, RingCentral requires assigning a phone number to an extension in order to assign a license. This feature request proposes the ability to assign a license to an extension independent of a phone number.
    Benefits:
    Improved Flexibility: This feature would allow for more flexible license management. Organizations could assign licenses to extensions for users who require features beyond those offered in the base package, even if they don't require a dedicated phone number.   9. The ability to Send Text Messages using car hands free systems. Users universally have a problem with sending Text Messages via car hands free systems. It does not seem to matter regarding the car OEM or using an Apple or Android phone. We do not have any problems receiving text messages however we cannot respond to that message or start a new one using the car hands free system. I suspect this has more to deal with the Apple and Android mobile app rather than the car system since regular carrier SMS messages are processed with no problems. Thank you.

  13. Need RC app to ask permission to takeover default video calling behavior. Client uses a MAC and every time they launch the RC app, it takes over as the default app for calling over Face Time. User would like option to choose default app for calling. Client is Tegna / UID 1853119021.

  14. After a firmware update, the identifier/icon for Park locations on the Polycom's phone display got smaller and it's kind of a downgrade as we were able to easily identify if a park location is available or busy.

    We have visually impaired employees and it's really hard for them to see this.

    1.) Right now, we can identify if the icons for the park location turns red or blinks (Encircled in red)
    2.) It used to be a different icon before (Highlighted in yellow)

  18. Customer is getting reports that some users are not seeing the contacts in the Outlook 365. Only to find out that the affected user did not connect the Outlook 365 calendar and contacts. He wants a view screen on the list of users connected to Outlook 365. Or, if he can push the connection of O365 from his end for all users, being the Super Admin.

  20. Allow RingCentral admins to see where voicemail emails are coming from by showing the IP address. This helps them keep an eye on security and fix any issues faster. They can control who sees this info and get alerts for any suspicious activity. Also, make it easy to connect with other security systems for better protection. This update gives admins more control, helps them stay on top of security, and makes it simpler to manage any problems that come up with voicemail emails.
