Give a reminder when calls are in Park
Calls in Park don’t get a reminder that there is a call waiting. One can also forget what # the call is parked on.

Here is how we have pick Park calls 5-10 because you can not see those on the Phone. Work around but can work with a little training of users. you have to leave the HUD up so you can see the Parked Calls.

Surprised this isn't available. I've been able to do this on multiple PBX's for 20 + years.

hello is there any way to have park locations ring back after a period of timewe want to Configure Private Parking and allow to return the call after a few minutes

When on a call using my primary number and another number comes in, there is no notification on the app that im using for the first call. I noticed that other apps (cell phone) was ringing. It would be valuable to know there is a call waiting either via beep like a traditional call or a visual pop up.

If someone puts a call on park for someone else to pick up, it should ring back to user that put the call on park to inform them it was never answered.

In a busy office space, a caller placed on what starts as a brief hold may be placed on the "back burner" if a more pressing matter presents. A useful tool/option to help remind the call recipient of the orginial caller would be an alert or "ping" on the app every 30 seconds that the caller is on hold.

Currently on Public Park the Ring Back option works great but if that extension is on the phone it send the caller to Voicemail of the extension. Private Park locations doesn't Ring back at all. For a ring back option can it go to a call queue as an option.

Ridiculous that this is not a standard option. I spent 45 minutes with customer service chat to find work around and they couldn't come up with anything. The idea posted here seems too complicated.

Our clients have requested that a parked call should play an audio beep after a certain amount of time (1 minute?) to remind them that someone is on hold. They recently upgraded to Ring Central and said their last phone system provided this feature but I contacted RC support and this feature is not offered.

Currently a call in a public park location will ring back after 5 minutes on hold but this option is not available for private park locations (call parks that you assign a name). Public call parks useless because you have to use, remember and communicate random extensions that cannot be looked up anywhere. For this reason I'd have to imagine private call parks are used far more than public. Calls routed to call parks whether public or private are equally important and should all have the ring back functionality available

Currently we have park keys as physical keys on the desktop phone. However, when we park a call it does not ring back after a length of time to remind the original ext tht the call is still on hold. Would like to have that option on park presence.

Yes, parked calls should even ring back. We have a mixed retail and office environment where our office employees usually answer the phones first and field calls, they then park the call and page whoever the caller is trying to reach. The problem is when that person is unavailable or just didn't hear the page; currently, the call stays on hold with only a blinking indicator until the caller hangs up. Here we like to do at least 2 pages unless we know that person is unavailable but how would we ever know we need to do a second page without manually tracking how long each call is on hold and when multiple calls are coming in and getting parked that becomes impossible. Also leaving someone on park until they get frustrated enough to hang up just seems like bad business. In my opinion we just need more options here on the park groups, give us options to ring back the call to the person who parked it or to a queue or both. Ideally we would like our calls to stay on hold for 1 minute 30 seconds, then ring back to the person who put it on park for 4 rings and if they don't re-answer the call then ring back out to the original queue it came in on.I currently have this working by doing some janky stuff and actually not using any built-in parking:1) I created 'park 1', 'park 2', ect. as USERS, not the built-in parking.2) Add these users to the phone screens through presence template(blf if doing manual provision).3) On the park users, I configured them to ring virtually for 30 seconds then forward to an extension which is a special queue I've created for each park location. I named these queues 'park 1 is recalling', 'park 2 is recalling', ect.4) I then configured each park queue to ring the park user associated with it for 1 minute then forward that call back to the location's incoming call queue. The end result is that our calls come in and get parked (actually transferred to a park user) for 1 minute and 30 seconds and if the call is not answered after that time then it rings back out to the location's incoming queue with the line is was parked on displaying on the screen. This seems to be working fairly well for now but all the queue transfers and mid-call changes I'm doing to make it work seem to be leading to some lost calls. It would be much more convenient to have these options built-in instead.

There is a park timeout but it has to be set on the back end by support. the issue is this timer does not work for park groups only public parked calls. The park timeout needso to work with all parked calls.

ABSOLUTELY need this feature, and for Park Locations as well. To go even further, add the option to ring back after a configurable duration either the extension that parked the call, or a different extension/call queue. This was a feature of our last system and our sites are pained without it.
