We need a shared space for a department to be able to send and receive text messages on a direct line. That same space we want the capabilities of a call queue included so people can answer and place calls in a centralized location as well. We have that capability in Dialpad which we are leaving to enter the RingCentral platform.

SMS chatting has become an important function used by businesses in many different ways. Integrating this feature with call queue so the agents and customers can use SMS as needed will further enhance the service and streamline the operation.

I want to be able to text a client and include the team members from our company by selecting the team's group/call queue and not inputting individual members for every text. This would allow us to pick up where the last team member left off. It is especially helpful when someone is out sick or on vacation.
