  1. We want to add Speed Dials to External Contacts to the HUD and Presence from the Softphone portal that can translate to the physical phone. Right now manually adding external speed dial is time consuming.

  2. . If the user in on lunch, out of the office, vacation. Another thing is once the DND is disable, status share like "on Lunch" will be cleared automatically. On Status options, we would like to add in meeting.

Users are unable to see the Custom Status in HUD, they can only see in the Message area/if they are sending Messages to each other; this was a feature in the old RC Phone app and we'd like to see it again in this one.Users can click on the profile picture in the popped-in HUD page to see the custom status (does not work on the popped-out HUD) and this is an extra click. We'd like to just see the status without having to do that like we could in the old app.

  5. We would like to have the HUD active for some users at all times. The real issue is that the pop up for the HUD has to be opened each day, we would like to have the HUD pop up open automatically for the users if possible.

  6. While having your status follow your calendar, it is not possible to manually change your status from In a Meeting to anything else during scheduled times. Your status should allow manual override of In a Meeting should someone still need to accept calls during a scheduled event.

  7. It would be helpful if we could set some kind of presence alert that notified us when a user becomes available. If we are trying to connect with another team member that is on the phone, we have to constantly check back to see if they're still on the phone. It would be nice if there was a notification you could enable to alert when they get off the phone, so you don't have to keep checking your Ring Central application to see if they're available.

  8. At the moment, if a user picks up their phone to dial a call, either from the desktop application or desk phone, they still show as available until that call connects. It would be most helpful if they showed as Not Available once the call was initiated, so there was not this in-between time from moment of dialing number until all is connected before they show as Not Available.

As a user I just want a list of all my contacts that are available at any given moment i.e. their status is Online right now.Maybe it can be shown as a list on the Contacts page where contacts are listed based on their type currently e.g. All, Company, Guests. Similarly we can list those from my contacts that are Online right now (so based on their statuses).

Having the ability to create folders or subcategories under the HUD feature would allow those user's who have many extensions listed, to be able to sort through those extensions to more easily locate the extensions they need at any particular moment or day. All user's who use the HUD feature would benefit from an additional features like this.It would simply work exactly like Folders under the Message tab. Have the ability to add new Folders, name the Folder, place extensions in the Folder, and move the Folders' orders.

  13. Using the ring desktop applications HUD, a receptionist when looking to see if a user is on the phone can also see who the user is on the phone with (Phone number + Name).HUGE privacy concerns. Why should any user be able to see who the CEO or Human Resources is on the phone with, name + phone number?Howcome access controls are not in place for this?

  14. Hello, when trying to organize busy lamps on our desk phones (VVX450). We would like to leave some empty spaces. For example, we want the busy lamps to appear only on the expansion module and not on the display within the 12 buttons. When I click save, 2 options appear to either leave the empty spaces, or collapse the list. I select Leave Empty, but the list collapses anyway. Can you either fix this or remove the unnecessary step to click either option. It appears to be a flaw in the programming.

  16. As of right now RingCentral allows any user given HUD access in the RC Desktop APP to add any extension in the company (including executive staff). Allowing them to easily see the names of callers, recipients and length of call. This must be addressed.

We have a few telephones that are in common areas, such as in the kitchen / break room, in storage rooms, in conference rooms, etc. I don't currently see any way to add these telephones to the HUD or Extension lists inside the Ring Central (Avaya Cloud Office, in our case) app. Please add this capability.

  18. Best used for a receptionist type phone, it would be great to be able to easily reorganize the names in the Presence. We keep them alphabetical for our receptionists to make it easy. With the current set up, you have to delete everyone further down in the alphabet to add a new person in the presence.

Users will be able to set up speed dial for supported phones easily, this makes communication faster and easier for large companies.A customer actually had the option available and was able to set up the speed dial on a Poly VVX 450, and a couple of days later, the option is no longer available.

  20. Incoming calls don't come through to my phone. I use the desktop app to send texts. I use the phone app to answer incoming calls. I'm unable to change that offline setting from my end. I have to get with customer support for assistance and the wait time is awful - agents unavailable when calling the number; currently have been waiting 45 minutes through the live chat. No one has time to do this.
