  2. It's great that the HUD was added to the RingCentral desktop app however, the only thing for us that it seems to be lacking is the ability to adjust the layout of the pop out window for the HUD. We still use the RingCentral Phone app because the pop out HUD view allows me to customize my HUD window more than the HUD in the RC app. In the RC app I can't get everyone to appear on the same size window like I had with the RC Phone app. Please see attached screenshots

  4. Call queue groups should also be visable on the hud, not just on contactsON Service Web it is stated that 'call queues (groups) can be made visible in the directory," It should also visable on UO desktop app under - Phone - HUD

  5. Using the Plug-In 'Ringcentral for Outlook' you can create and send a meeting invite to one or more contacts in your Outlook. You can start a phone call to an Outlook contact directly from the Plug-In too.If you are creating a conference invite short-term it would be very beneficial to see in Outlook the RingCentral the presence status of the invitees.

Having the ability to create folders or subcategories under the HUD feature would allow those user's who have many extensions listed, to be able to sort through those extensions to more easily locate the extensions they need at any particular moment or day. All user's who use the HUD feature would benefit from an additional features like this.It would simply work exactly like Folders under the Message tab. Have the ability to add new Folders, name the Folder, place extensions in the Folder, and move the Folders' orders.

Users are unable to see the Custom Status in HUD, they can only see in the Message area/if they are sending Messages to each other; this was a feature in the old RC Phone app and we'd like to see it again in this one.Users can click on the profile picture in the popped-in HUD page to see the custom status (does not work on the popped-out HUD) and this is an extra click. We'd like to just see the status without having to do that like we could in the old app.

  8. Request the HUD list be available in vertical tile format versus horizontal tile format without having to manipulate the HUD list after popping it out.

  9. We (my entire work team) would like the option to set our chat status to "Away" as well as to add text along with it. Right now, the only options are Available, Not Available and Invisible.

  10. I am unable to answer phone calls on behalf of my manager when using the any of the mobile apps; it does not work on the 'RingCentral Phone' or 'RingCentral Unified'. I am working phone home and need to be able to answer calls on my mobile phone.

  11. After the recent update for the RingCentral application, the HUD option is missing the ALL option feature.

    The customer and partner want to revert it when the HUD is showing the ALL option.

Missing features include:Call duration of all active callsComplete caller information for all active callsCorrect status (most users show offline in RingCentral app, correct status in RingCentral Phone app)Option to display entire HUD that lists all users in a narrow window (currently in the RingCentral HUD, I can only see a few users, even on a 32" Apple Pro Display XDR monitor; in the RingCentral Phone app, I can see all users easily and clearly in a narrow window that occupies perhaps a 5th of my laptop screen)

  13. The RingCentral app HUD (now also available for the desktop) currently allows manual rearrangement of user contacts, but it would be great if they could be sorted alphabetically with just a 'click'.

  15. We want to add Speed Dials to External Contacts to the HUD and Presence from the Softphone portal that can translate to the physical phone. Right now manually adding external speed dial is time consuming.

  16. Customer would like when scheduling a meeting that the presence indicator can be automatically set to DND rather than in a meeting. When in a meeting calls can come through and disrupt the user which isn't a good experience.

  17. Previously the dialpad was available on the HUD tab. this was convenient. the new layout removes this and changes the HUD from a clean list to a multi column setup which feels more cluttered.

    while we are able to add quick contacts on the dialpad tab, this lacks the more complete information the HUD tab provides for when people are on a call.

    allowing more control over how these lists of contacts are displayed (as a list or multiple columns) would be great.

  19. We would like to have the HUD active for some users at all times. The real issue is that the pop up for the HUD has to be opened each day, we would like to have the HUD pop up open automatically for the users if possible.

  20. The ability, once HUD is in place to control calls on a physical desk phone, primarily transfer calls by drag and drop. 8x8 and others already have this feature.
