  3. We have a user that would like to send text messages as another user. I have looked in the settings on the ringcentral app and I am only able to change to my own number. Would this be a setting that we can enable?

    The extension for the user is ext. 4352 Crystal Jones. She is wanted to text out using her coworkers number (ext. 2503) Lisa Shockey for when she’s out sick. Is Crystal able to change her number and do this?

  4. When we send an SMS, I would like their contact name to automatically populate when I send the text

    When you choose a name from the contact list, the name of that person must automatically add to the content of the SMS template,

  6. We are using another provider to be able to share our main number sms inbox, I learned that an update will be coming soon that will allow users to share an inbox, that is great!.

    But, we also need to be able to send a mass texts to our contacts, to announce office closure, holiday greetings or other business related announcements.

    This feature will get RC close to being a one stop option for Voice/Text service.

  7. As of right now, there’s not an option to choose the SMS/Text archive into Microsoft SharePoint or OneDrive. The next best thing is Google OneDrive. Our firm (along with many other businesses) use Microsoft 365 for all their business tech. This functionally would be very convenient if the integration was built.

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently using RingCentral for our communication needs and have encountered a limitation that we hope you can help us resolve. We have been trying to create a group text by entering phone numbers (without extension numbers) to send bulk messages and images. However, we have noticed that there is a limit of only 11 members per group text, and we are unable to add a 12th phone number.

    Given that there are many applications that allow the creation of groups with up to 250 members, We Ring…

  19. We had an office emergency in our office yesterday, and we needed everyone to clear the building ASAP. I was able to send a Direct message to all users. Afterward, I was wondering if there was a way to send an emergency notification to all our employees that would interrupt any call with a message.

  20. Could you please make the following changes to the way customers receive text messages from us?

    Sender Display Name:

    Instead of showing "via RingCentral" as the sender, we’d like the messages to display our main company name (e.g., [Company Name]).

    Sender Phone Number:

    We’d like the number displayed to be our main company number ([Insert Main Company Number]) instead of any alternative numbers.

    These updates are important for ensuring brand consistency and trust in our communications.
