Feature Ask - Keyword Search within Contact Details
Client is asking for more data in the contact details to able to search when using the global search or when using the search field in the contacts.Currently you can only use first name, last name and phone number to look for a contact – either it be personal or corporate contact.Add new fields for a contact as per the next slide and make these fields searchable in the search engine.I have suggested notes, Skills and Location as additional fields.Alternatively it would be sufficient to have the possibility to include custom field which can be used alread today as above…

Outlook Contact Sync with Subfolders
Currently, when syncing the RingCentral App with Office365 Contacts, the only contacts that are pulled are from the primary contacts folder, not the subfolders that a user may have created.It would be useful to eitherProvide for the ability to choose subfolders to sync with from the RingCentral AppJust recursively look in the subfolders and sync everything within RingCentral.

contact sync with desktop handset
It would be a very welcome feature add to have contacts sync with desktop handsets. Currently, when people call, I only see the phone number on the handset display. I have to run a search in my outlook contacts to see if the caller is known.My only options to solve this are to periodically export my entire contact list to a csv, then do a batch upload to my device (a Yealink T46S). Contacts should sync through the ringcentral app. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard. Can you make this happen?

Contact searching by location
We can search contacts by name or Extension but have multiple locations and it would be nice if we can search by office. For instance, I would like to see all the staff and their availability in Office A. It is a field that is filled out for each user profile so it should be searchable.

Upload Corporate Contacts to phone
Uploading corporate contacts to the deskphone would be very beneficial, manually adding the corporate contacts from the phone is a very time consuming process. Even if we would be able to download the contact list and then upload them to the phone via a USB port would faster.

Sync Zoho Contacts into RingCentral App
Our company synced our RingCentral account to our Zoho CRM, but the CRM contacts are not shared/synced back to RingCentral's contact database in either the RC desktop or mobile apps. Please add a feature to sync the contacts between the two systems.

Creating new Contact Groups
In contacts, contacts are grouped by Company, Guests and Personal. A feature should be introduced to allow users to create a separate contact group (eg. Clients), for ease of sorting and allocation of contacts.

Show all Office 365 global address book addresses in the ACO, not just mailboxes
The Microsoft/Office 365 global address book consists of "mailboxes" (@domain) addresses and external address "contacts" (vendors, friends, etc...). Only the mailboxes show up in the ACO desktop and web app. For some reason the ACO isn't able to connect to the "contacts" in the GAL. Personal addresses created on a user by user level show up but not the "contacts" that are shared throughout the company in the GAL.

Need to access contacts from Windows App
It is not possible to access Outlook contacts, or have the app access the contacts directly from our Exchange server. Neither can I click Call on the contact in Outlook, as the RingCentral app doesn't connect to Microsoft Telephony Services. A phone app without the ability to dial contacts is not very useful.

Advanced searching for contacts
When I am sorting call history or starting a new call, it should filter results from company, and first and last name. Currently it only filters results form first and last name of contact.

"Rolodex" where you can house all your contacts that the entire company can reference.
Since Ring Central is for calls both incoming and outgoing it would be nice to be able to add contacts that the company uses such as vendors you work with, site contacts, etc.. Currently you can only add "Personal Contacts" which only the user can reference. Essentially a rolodex of contacts the company uses.

Auto created contacts from chats with AI identification
The idea would be to use AI to improve contacts management and people efficiency... One thing I have found difficult since I joined RingCentral is to remember all the names and what people do as I have met so many people...IF when I chat with someone MVP could suggest and automatically create a contact I have been "In contact" and put a note of what we were talking about (like when you send a text and apple highlight and suggest to create the contact if it see a name). Allow More Than 10,000 Contacts
With large organizations, 10000 contacts is nowhere near enough to support the amount of contacts we would like to sync into RingCentral for the Caller ID. This limit is arbitrarily low and should be raised.

Need the Desktop app to integrate with on-prem Exchange and Outlook (for Contacts)
Using the Desktop app the only options I have under Settings | Calendars and Contacts are Microsoft (365) and Google. We don't use either of these. Our organization uses an on-prem Exchange server and Outlook. We want to access our contacts using the Desktop app, too! We have the Outlook add-in, but we'd like to "advertise" to our employees that they can do everything communication-wise from within the Desktop app.

Add Contact Groups that can be applied to different sites
We work with multiple clients that have different sites, and I am sure many other RingCentral customers do as well. The global directory adds all phone numbers in the company to the directory, however our sites would benefit greatly from having Contact Groups that are specific to their site. Having the ability in the admin center to create different contact groups and apply them to different users/sites would be very beneficial.

Test Tool for WFH for Phone and Contact Center
For employees that are working from home and have varied networks and providers. A tool that will test their ability to use phone and contact center applications from home. Could even be used for test a new remote branch even. Would test things like QOS, Bandwidth speeds, SIP ALG etc. if failed in a certain test on the call could provider links or direction on next steps to look at.

personal contacts should be available for search in unified app (Dial Pad)
When our user use Unified app and click on the dial pad and search for personal contact (#name) it's not showing the right contact.for Example name of the personal contact is "12 Angeline"when you search it on the dial pad (unified app), it will not show the personal contact, only the company contact.This feature is available with RC phone app and it would be great if we can have this migrated to the new app.Work around that we are doing is to use search bar on the unified app but would be better if we can do it on the…
