We have been using Classic (Glip) for our team messaging and do not like the new Desktop App replacement because it lacks the ability to change Themes or to customize the layout/colors in any way other than accepting the 'light' or 'dark' modes, neither of which are either pleasing or suitable. Please consider adding back in the ability to change the Theme, or to modify the background and font colors on each section.

  3. All users of RingCentral App for desktop would benefit. Include the ability to forward a voice mail message to another user on the system. Current options only allow download but no forward. The option exists in the call log on the web to forward but not in the app.

  5. Just like the RingCentral softphone, the RC App needs a way to ALWAYS bring the RC App to the front/foreground when an incoming call arrives. This is critical especially for IVR Agents that need to take the call. Today, one has to click on the taskbar notification, then the RC App appears. Only then can the agent accept of reject the call.

  6. This would be useful if an employee likes to keep messages in their mailboxes and need to transfer it to another extension. We get alot of email and these seem to disappear within the inbox when transferred that way.

  9. If you use the RingCentral App actively for messages and text, the search bar is crucial for quickly finding conversations. Please add direct access to it via a shortcut (e.g., the "/" symbol) to avoid having to click around.

  14. This currently exists in the RC Phone app, but does not exist in the new RC App for Windows. I use this feature constantly. I would like to be able to use only one app, but I need to continue use of RC Phone in order to access my favorite contacts. Also, why don't all of my contacts that are in RC Phone sync with RC App?

  15. EU would like them to have the ability to receive a confirmation page that the fax was received by the recipient. It is specifically an image of the page that was faxed on the confirmation page.

Ring Central "Classic" would show the icon from a status next to the user name in the left hand column of the app. Hovering over the icon would show the status text (including custom status text). This is not implemented in the new Ring Central App.As we are all working remotely we find this was a good feature. I can tell if someone is simply "out of office", or even "Running" or "Having Lunch".This is NOT the same as DND, it conveys much more information and DND affects other behaviours too.Please re-implement this missing feature in the new Ring Central…

  18. A user was typing a message and a phone call/meeting appeared. One of the keystrokes, not sure which one, instantly declined the call and ended it. The user did not have enough time to verify the incoming call. It would be great to not miss calling due to typing a message during an incoming call.

Share faxes or voicemails amongst users within the same queue....without having to leave the RingCentral app. To be as specific as possible, make the incoming fax and voicemail section shareable across users, so if one user checks a voicemail it becomes marked as read to all users. If we're really shooting for the moon here add an automatic label denoting who checked that fax/voicemail with a timestap for accountability. Everyone being blasted by texts and emails for each incoming item doesn't really seem appropriate in a place of business. "Already Exists" was a bit of an exaggeration on my "RingCentral…

  20. 1) For an added ADmin to be able to remove members from the team2) to import a list of team members to be added It's hard to add/remove members if only team creator is able to do so, as they might not always be available. It's difficult to create a team with members in the 100s, if each email address needs to be entered manually. we have 600 users we need to add as members. there should be an eas-ier way to do this.
