Support Multiple Account Sign-Ins with SSO in RingCentral App
urrently, the RingCentral App allows multiple account sign-ins only when the accounts are not using Single Sign-On (SSO). If SSO is enabled for one or more accounts, users are unable to add and switch between them. This creates a limitation for users who need to manage multiple SSO-enabled accounts.

Align Ring Count Settings with Audible Ringtone Across Devices
Currently, in RingCentral user ring settings, each “ring” is defined as 5 seconds of ring time. However, the audible ringtone pattern differs by device (e.g., desktop app, desk phones, mobile apps). For example, when a user sets their ring setting to 3 rings (15 seconds), they may hear 6 audible rings on the desktop app instead of 3. This inconsistency causes confusion for users who expect the audible ringtone count to match the configured ring count.

Users logged out of app for an extended amount of time goes automatically to voicemail when there's an inbound call
Use case: Employee unable to provide notice to their company that they could not report to work and unable to access their apps would result to automatic voicemail without making any changes to his/her extension's settings or status.
Current behavior: Inbound call results to a ringing behavior from the caller side even user is actually logged out and already out of office.
This applies to user extensions set for 24/7 schedule and no active custom rules. User was able to log out of his/her app previously

Currently, to share voicemail via email on the app, customers need to install Microsoft Outlook desktop app but as per customer, they are using Google Workspace and not Outlook.
Please have an option to use other external email instead of just MS Outlook app.

Improvement for AI Notes Button on RC Mobile App
Problem: During a call on the RC mobile app, the "AI notes" button remains visible even after it has been enabled. This makes it very easy to accidentally tap the button and disable the AI notes feature mid-call, resulting in the loss of the call transcription and summary.
Impact: This issue forces users to either restart the call or manually take notes, which is inefficient and can lead to missed information. The primary benefit of the AI notes feature—automated transcription—is compromised by this user experience flaw.

Option to Disable or Defer RingCentral App Auto-Update Prompts
Currently, the RingCentral app automatically prompts users to download and install updates by delivering a new .exe or .apk file. This behavior can interrupt workflows, especially in managed IT environments or for users with limited install permissions.
We request an optional setting for end-users or IT admins to disable, defer, or schedule app updates, allowing more flexibility and minimizing disruptions during daily operations.

Color of profile icon
I’d like to submit a feature request on behalf of the customer. She asked if there could be an option to change the color of the profile icon in the RingCentral app when no profile picture is uploaded. Currently, the icon defaults to a preset color with the user's initials, and she would like the ability to customize that for a more personalized experience.

Make the 'External Shared Contacts Directory' visible to the RingCentral Desktop Plugin
Although we enabled the 'External Shared Contacts Directory' as directed in the KB provided (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Managing-the-shared-directory-of-external-contacts-in-the-RingCentral-Admin-Portal.html?brand=RingCentral&product=RingEX&language=en_US), the newly added contact is not recognised by the desktop plugin but IS recognised by the Teams addon
