  1. We were using RingCentral for HubSpot chrome extension to call our customer before. And now as this sees sunset, we have added the RingCentral as a full integration into HubSpot and started using Call function.

    What's happening now is, when we start a call type task from the task queue in HubSpot, it automatically calls the customer. Which we do not want. We want the control over when to call the customer.

    We have contacted HubSpot and at the moment they don't have a setting to turning off this feature. Please have a feature in RingCentral to turn this off.

  9. We would like to request a feature enhancement that allows users in HubSpot to view and respond to SMS messages sent to the company’s main number.

    Currently, SMS messaging within HubSpot is a 1:1 interaction tied to individual users. This request proposes the ability to create a shared SMS inbox in HubSpot, where multiple users can:

    Access and view all incoming messages sent to the company main number

    See the SMS logs associated with relevant contacts or leads

    Send and reply to SMS messages directly within the same thread

    Call Recordings for RingCentral are available for playback within the HubSpot ecosystem for each call recording and object that is created with a recording. The recording is always stored on the RingCentral side and is not available to be stored within the HubSpot environment due to storage limits

  14. This idea is to synchronize contacts from your CRM directly into RingCentral. This would provide several key benefits:

    • Improved Caller ID: When customers call, their names will be properly displayed in RingCentral, eliminating the need for external Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) solutions to identify callers.
    • Simplified Call Handling: Easily create customized call routing and handling rules based on your CRM contacts.

    We will use this idea to aggregate interest in this feature across all CRMs, including, but not limited to, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zendesk, Bullhorn, Pipedrive, and more.

    When an incoming call is received via the RingCentral App, the call notification overlay takes focus and covers the screen, interrupting active tasks such as typing. This occurs for all team members, even when someone else answers the call (e.g., a colleague answers, but the overlay still appears for others).

    Impact:
    While the interruption is brief, it happens consistently throughout the day and disrupts workflow, particularly during typing or data entry. This frequent disruption is becoming increasingly frustrating for the team.

    Is there a way to adjust the overlay behaviour or limit it to only the intended call…

  18. We would like to have an API endpoint that would let us download AI notes and AI summaries for calls where Notes was turned on. This will be a requirement for us before we can use it for regulatory compliance purposes.
