It would be very useful to add/edit contacts within the Ring app as sometimes our customers take a new role or get a new phone number assigned that needs to be updated.

This is a major issue for us. I am bewildered that a phone service system doesn't provide the ability to allow all users to add/edit shared/external contacts. It is not reasonable to have all our users add information to a .csv file and then uploading it everyday. Please please please consider this feature request as a priority - it really should be a basic feature for any phone management system.

I have uploaded the contact list but my users cannot update the contacts. Would like to have the ability for my users to update any contacts from the External Shared Contact Directory from the RingCentral Desktop app.

This feature should absolutely be prioritized. I'm surprised it was not implemented initially as it would save a lot of time and headaches.

I see where we can create a "team" in the contacts section, which allows you to invite members from work. What about the ability to create groups for just your regular contacts? I'm a recruiter and it'd be handy to have my candidates listed under groups such as "On assignment" or even by skills like "machine operators" or "warehouse workers".

Sometimes we need to do an Edit on a contact after an incoming call, but we can't just click on the call log and do a quick edit, we have to go to the contacts list, search for the contact and then edit.

Adding an Edit option on the call log when the contact is already added to the list of contacts will minimize data entry.

The ability to create a "Client" contact list in addition to the "Personal" contact list, so client and person contacts are separate. I am surprised since this is a Business Account that this is not an option. Also, each user should be able to create their own personal and client contact list. Thanks
