  3. Client doesn't wanted to get the call notification if one of the extension he is monitoring gets a call. He just wanted to see the presence icon turns red if an extension is on a call.

  5. It's great that the HUD was added to the RingCentral desktop app however, the only thing for us that it seems to be lacking is the ability to adjust the layout of the pop out window for the HUD. We still use the RingCentral Phone app because the pop out HUD view allows me to customize my HUD window more than the HUD in the RC app. In the RC app I can't get everyone to appear on the same size window like I had with the RC Phone app. Please see attached screenshots

  6. We (my entire work team) would like the option to set our chat status to "Away" as well as to add text along with it. Right now, the only options are Available, Not Available and Invisible.

  7. ...ation, DND- Lunch, DND-Out Sick, DND-Meeting, etc…. Customer wants to define more to DND for phone status and not just setting the “Set Status Message” but expect RC to create custom DND items to select, example; DND-Vacation, DND-Lunch, DND-Dinner, DND-OutSick, DND-Traveling, etc…. They want also the option of changing Available as well with reason codes and not with Set Status Message. If any of DND descriptions is selected, it puts the phone in DND and follow the call handing path.

Users are unable to see the Custom Status in HUD, they can only see in the Message area/if they are sending Messages to each other; this was a feature in the old RC Phone app and we'd like to see it again in this one.Users can click on the profile picture in the popped-in HUD page to see the custom status (does not work on the popped-out HUD) and this is an extra click. We'd like to just see the status without having to do that like we could in the old app.

  10. Call queue groups should also be visable on the hud, not just on contactsON Service Web it is stated that 'call queues (groups) can be made visible in the directory," It should also visable on UO desktop app under - Phone - HUD

  11. . If the user in on lunch, out of the office, vacation. Another thing is once the DND is disable, status share like "on Lunch" will be cleared automatically. On Status options, we would like to add in meeting.

  13. give the ability to add call queue or an IVR to the phone presence. This would make it easier for a user (in this case the receptionist) to transfer callers to an IVR or call Queue with the push of one button.

  14. We would like to have the HUD active for some users at all times. The real issue is that the pop up for the HUD has to be opened each day, we would like to have the HUD pop up open automatically for the users if possible.

  15. At the moment, if a user picks up their phone to dial a call, either from the desktop application or desk phone, they still show as available until that call connects. It would be most helpful if they showed as Not Available once the call was initiated, so there was not this in-between time from moment of dialing number until all is connected before they show as Not Available.

  16. It would be helpful if we could set some kind of presence alert that notified us when a user becomes available. If we are trying to connect with another team member that is on the phone, we have to constantly check back to see if they're still on the phone. It would be nice if there was a notification you could enable to alert when they get off the phone, so you don't have to keep checking your Ring Central application to see if they're available.

  17. While having your status follow your calendar, it is not possible to manually change your status from In a Meeting to anything else during scheduled times. Your status should allow manual override of In a Meeting should someone still need to accept calls during a scheduled event.

Having the ability to create folders or subcategories under the HUD feature would allow those user's who have many extensions listed, to be able to sort through those extensions to more easily locate the extensions they need at any particular moment or day. All user's who use the HUD feature would benefit from an additional features like this.It would simply work exactly like Folders under the Message tab. Have the ability to add new Folders, name the Folder, place extensions in the Folder, and move the Folders' orders.

  20. Using the ring desktop applications HUD, a receptionist when looking to see if a user is on the phone can also see who the user is on the phone with (Phone number + Name).HUGE privacy concerns. Why should any user be able to see who the CEO or Human Resources is on the phone with, name + phone number?Howcome access controls are not in place for this?
