  1. Currently there is no way for administrators to manage the individual SMS functions of their team without support. Much like Faxing to the desktop has an "ON/OFF" toggle on the user level, now that SMS is not unlimited and for other factors, administrators should be able to self manage who has the right to send/receive SMS to their RCO App. Perhaps in addition a limit to how many messages they can send without additional approval. With regulations becoming more strict as well for business' SMS this will grow in importance.

  2. allowing all users to see and interact with SMS messages - I own an insurance agency, so when customers text the office, it would make it much easier if both myself and my employee(s) would be able to see those messages.

  3. We text our clients a LOT. To the point it can be difficult to keep track of things that have been addressed or not. Having some of the functionality available in normal Messages for SMS threads would be a huge help to manage them. I realize SMS doesn't support the interactive type features where both sides of a convo see things (tasks, events, etc). But being able to do things like Pin specific texts, Attach files to a thread, have the images tab show any images sent/received, assign a task/event (and perhaps give the task assignee visibility to the thread),…

  5. It would be beneficial to allow the addition of extra numbers to an sms thread, including the message history, without creating a new group text. If our CSR is messaging a customer and wants to loop in their manager it should be a simple addition and all history should be shared.

  7. With clients starting to utilize the texting feature with our team, we need to be able to notify our clients if they text a team member who is out of the office - like you do with emails. It would be great if this could pull in from the out of office message that you put in office.com/outlook.

  8. Different from your current schedule task feature. This benefits the sender. The functionality should mimic sms. Just the simple ability to schedule communications to individuals or set direct teams. The ability to include attachments is necessary. For an example on Monday at 0900 message delivers to recipients- such as " on call sign up". I may be in another meeting at that time. But if I can plan for that prior that improves communication and functionality of your tool.

  9. we have to click each sms message to delete it. This is cumbersome and frankly an elementary need. I cant believe this isn't already an option.

  10. It's important to touch-base on unanswered phone calls with an automatic text message informing them of a callback or any helpful information if the person they are calling or the line itself is busy.

  11. I just called Ring Central today and the IVR was completely different than what it use to be. It now has more features for announcements while on hold. It gives the caller an estimated hold time. It also sends text messages to the caller's phone number when the caller says "send chat" or whatever the prompt is. I wonder why that option is not available for their customers. Companies have been using those features for years and they are now outdated, but we still don't have those features available to us. Having the ability to automate and integrate our phone…

  13. Seems crazy that you can't SMS a customer a Google/Apple Maps link to a location as it's getting marked as spam. We're a service based business that travels and meets customers on various site locations. Often times the 'address' given brings people to the wrong location so it's easier to drop a PIN and share the actual hyperlink to the meeting location. See an example below.

  18. We need a global suppression for text messaging. This will allow us to add users who request to never be texted by the organization.

  19. When I am texting with someone, often times, the icon that appears around the initials of their name is the EXACT same color of the icon that appears around my initials. This often leads to me missing texts since it looks like I was the last person to respond. There NEEDS to be a way to differentiate the numbers in the chat. Bare minimum, drastically different colored icons per number included in the chat, different shapes would be even better!

  20. It would be very useful if any new number added to the account(s) be automatically added to the SMS Campaign otherwise it will be a step administrators will forget to do and the new phone user will not be able to use their text function.
