  1. The Customer wants a message to be automatically marked as Read for all users/extensions once another team member has opened and replied to it, so that we can avoid duplicate efforts and maintain a clean inbox.

    Currently, in the Beetexting shared SMS inbox, when one user reads and replies to an incoming message, the message remains marked as "Unread" on other users' extensions. This creates confusion, as team members cannot easily tell which inquiries have already been addressed without manually clicking into each conversation.

  3. As a Shared Inbox user (especially one who can assign conversations), I need to see all active conversations by default, and then optionally filter down.

    Current behavior: by default, the inbox excludes conversations assigned to other users.

    Required behavior: default view should be ALL conversations when “ALL” is selected.

    Workaround issue: turning the filter off does not persist between app relaunches, which creates a risk that messages will be missed.

  7. Currently to use the new group SMS features, you need to assign your customer-facing number to a Call Queue and the members of that Call Queue can send and receive texts from that group number. I want to be able to keep that number as a Site Number, and then just assign the Call Queue to that Site as a setting and have it behave the same way for group SMS.   9. If a specific number sends me a text should be forwarded to our Slack channel- but making sure not all incoming SMS messages will be sent to our Slack Channel. Additionally, if this is possible with RingCentral, to create a custom SMS rule so that only messages from specific numbers are shared in our shared inbox, instead of all received SMS messages?

  10. Currently, company main numbers and numbers associated with site extensions, user extensions, and message-only extensions cannot be used with the shared inbox. We are requesting that this capability be enabled so that these numbers can utilize the shared inbox functionality.

  12. SMS automation/workflows are currently only available for direct numbers and not supported in Shared Inbox. It would be helpful to extend this feature to Shared Inbox to allow teams to automate responses and improve messaging efficiency.

  15. Right now, when you reached SMS received per user, per inbox of 5000, SMS will be deleted and replaced by new ones. It's best to have an option to increase storage allocation.

  17. Customers are requesting a speech-to-text (voice dictation) feature in the SMS interface. Before sending an SMS, users should be able to click on a microphone icon, speak their message, and have the system automatically convert the speech into editable text. Users can then review and edit the text before sending.

The system should restrict outbound SMS capabilities to a Super Admin-managed list of verified client numbers.
