  6. We had an office emergency in our office yesterday, and we needed everyone to clear the building ASAP. I was able to send a Direct message to all users. Afterward, I was wondering if there was a way to send an emergency notification to all our employees that would interrupt any call with a message.

  7. Could you please make the following changes to the way customers receive text messages from us?

    Sender Display Name:

    Instead of showing "via RingCentral" as the sender, we’d like the messages to display our main company name (e.g., [Company Name]).

    Sender Phone Number:

    We’d like the number displayed to be our main company number ([Insert Main Company Number]) instead of any alternative numbers.

    These updates are important for ensuring brand consistency and trust in our communications.

  8. not receiving 2 factor authentication via whatsapp, sms not going through and getting an error to try again after an hour,sms not even showing on sms log under admin portal. tried 2fa via call but calls are disconnecting which also shows on our call logs tried other RC numbers but not being recognize as U.S number even though that it is U.S number.

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently using RingCentral for our communication needs and have encountered a limitation that we hope you can help us resolve. We have been trying to create a group text by entering phone numbers (without extension numbers) to send bulk messages and images. However, we have noticed that there is a limit of only 11 members per group text, and we are unable to add a 12th phone number.

  19. auto delete SMS after a day on a user level

    or SuperAdmin capability to manage data retention policy for a user level

    If you log in as SuperAdmin on the RC App> click on Settings > Administration> Messaging> Manage beside Manage data retention policy, you can set it to delete after 1 day. This will delete other messages too like voicemails and faxes.
    This however would apply to all users for the account so possible we can apply this to only one user.

  20. This request aims to enhance the management of SMS numbers to minimize issues with blocked messages. Users have reported difficulties when numbers are not registered with active campaigns, leading to service disruptions.

    In this case, the number was used prior to being added to a campaign, resulting in a block. Although it functioned after being registered, it will remain blocked for at least 30 days due to prior usage.

    We propose developing a system that automatically checks and registers numbers, along with providing notifications about their compliance status. This enhancement will help reduce disruptions and streamline the management of SMS…
