Show entire SMS history when creating a new SMS like it used to
On the RingCentral desktop app, you used to be able to see the full SMS history when you went to create a new SMS text. Now when you create a new SMS text message, you don't see the history. It was super helpful to have the history there any time you created a new SMS message. The new functionality is not great for awareness of the most recent text message.

Allow SMS in AI Receptionist to Be Sent from Extensions Other Than the Super Admin
Summary:
In the current implementation of the AI Receptionist (AIR), the SMS messaging feature is restricted to using only the super admin extension as the sending number. This limits flexibility and usability for organizations that require communication to be routed through other user extensions or departments.Current Behavior:
When accessing the “Send Text Message” feature within the AI Receptionist, only the super admin extension is available as the sending number.
There is no option to select or assign another user extension or number.
Requested Enhancement:
Provide the ability to select from a list of eligible user extensions or direct numbers…

Preview pasted image in SMS Texts!
When we copy/paste a screenshot or image into an SMS Text thread it just shows "image.png" and we have no way to confirm if it is the correct image sent to the correct customer/person. We deal with sensitive financial information and this risk bears great consequence for us. Please make a way to see the image that is being pasted into the SMS thread!!

RingCentral Mobile App SMS Icon Should Be Added Back
BeeTexting is for the company phone numbers text messages. RingCentral App SMS icon should be used for the direct phone numbers SMS. Just like what the customer has in the RingCentral desktop/web app.

Download SMS logs with Customized Columns
Ability to Download SMS Logs with Custom Columns on the reports. Currently not able to download SMS logs with the Status column. It only downloads with fixed and specified columns which is not complete as listed on the admin portal.

SMS Text Templates
I would like to be able to order the template texts alphabetically or what ever so that I can find them in a logical order. ie - all texts pertaining to Reminders, or Paperwork Due, etc. - I like and use the templates every day. I used to have a text file on the side of my RC that I would cut and paste into RC. So great addition!

Creating a new text
Prior to the newest update, when sending a new text, you would type in the number and click 'next' which would bring you to the entire text thread giving you the option to either call or text. This would also allow you to view the entire text thread. With this new update, doing the same function - sending a new text- it now has a pop up to create the text within this pop up window and 'send', NOT giving you the option to click 'next' and take you to the text thread. This is a major inconvenience to day…

Make texting more seamless
Create a button to text a caller that you are currently on the phone with vs having to go to the texting icon and retype their phone number. Additionally, you could also have a button to text a caller a link to switch the call over to a video meeting.

Ability to append messages with OPT OUT verbiage (check box) has been removed.
For a short time, we had the ability to check a box, that appended a message with verbiage that added the OPT OUT wording (see attachment). That feature is now gone. Please bring it back! One of the most helpful SMS things I've seen and used! Please bring it back ASAP.

Enabling SMS feature automatically
Customer is not happy regarding our process in manually enabling the SMS feature of a newly added Canadian number for SMS. It would be best if the SMS feature would be enabled by default for Canadian numbers especially if it would be only use to send SMS inside Canada.

Ability to Opt-Out SMS for All Numbers Within an Account
Currently, customers can only opt out of receiving SMS messages by replying "STOP" to text messages from individual phone numbers. This process can be cumbersome for accounts with multiple numbers, as customers must opt out separately for each one.
We request a feature that allows customers to opt out of SMS messaging across all numbers within their account simultaneously. This centralized opt-out option would improve user experience by providing a simpler and more efficient way to manage SMS preferences and ensure compliance with opt-out regulations.
