Restore SMS History
After the recent Shared SMS update, all of my existing SMS message history across multiple extensions was suddenly wiped and is no longer accessible. Even after disabling Shared SMS, the previous conversation threads did not return. I am requesting a feature or capability that allows SMS history to be preserved or restored after enabling Shared SMS, or at least a way to retrieve the lost message history from the backend. This is important for maintaining communication records and ensuring continuity of business conversations.

Add unread notification badge to shared text inbox
I would like to see the yellow counter on the text bubble in the app when a new shared text has been received and not read. Also, it would be great to have a constant reminder to the recipients in the shared inbox if the text is left unassigned or unread.

Allow Separate SMS Route/Recipient for Main Company Number and Auto-Receptionist
RingCentral should allow different text routing for the Auto-Receptionist number and the main company number so that SMS messages sent to each number can go to different recipients.

RingEX - Global A2P SMS Routing & APAC Local Number Provisioning
The Problem
An enterprise e-commerce client (~5M global customers) is attempting to send automated, event-triggered Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS messages to Australia (AU) and New Zealand (NZ) at a volume of 10k–20k messages/month.Currently, the platform's upstream carrier architecture restricts outbound SMS to these regions to Peer-to-Peer (P2P) routes only. As a result, automated traffic is blocked by international carrier matrices. Furthermore, internal logs falsely mark these blocked messages as successfully "Delivered," and Campaign Registry (TCR) constraints prevent the client from registering local AU/NZ numbers to bypass these filters.
Proposed Solution & Key Capabilities

Allow multiple SMS recipients for E911 notification.
Currently, E911 SMS notifications are only going through when there is a single recipient registered in the admin portal. However, when multiple recipients are added, the SMS notifications fail to send.
Having multiple recipients for E911 SMS notifications is important because it ensures that critical emergency alerts are immediately received by more than one responsible party. This redundancy helps guarantee that someone is always notified, even if one recipient is unavailable, offline, or unable to respond. In emergency situations, timely awareness is crucial, and relying on a single contact increases the risk of delayed response.
