  6. Currently if an account received an SMS from a short code number that matches an Extension number in the account, it shows like its an SMS from an Ext in the account.

    Usually you cannot reply from a short code SMS
    but if it happens to match the from to an Ext number you will be able to reply from it and SMs will be sent to that User ext

  10. As of right now, there’s not an option to choose the SMS/Text archive into Microsoft SharePoint or OneDrive. The next best thing is Google OneDrive. Our firm (along with many other businesses) use Microsoft 365 for all their business tech. This functionally would be very convenient if the integration was built.

Update the TCR application for existing RingCentral customers (or all) to enable opt out of marketing (consenting to not selling to customers for each number on account) if we don't directly engage customers (e.g. deliver technology support services). This is common and usual practice for U.S. federal subcontractors whom provide support services and knowledge capital services to the larger established defense companies (e.g. Prime Contractors are required to have a website to win any government contracts, but not subcontractors pending nature of work). In short, the U.S. Federal Gov't actually prohibits via legislation for fair practices to enforce strict procurement…

  13. Please implement something to manage SMS opt-ins. I should be able to automatically opt-in every number in my business instance as their continued employment constitutes acceptance. But external parties maybe go to www.ringcentral.com/[cust #]/[campaign #]/[phone number] to opt in.

    Maybe give a webpage where I can upload my company logo and which has default acceptable text for opting in that we can modify. You could help your customers ensure compliance by preventing SMS messages to numbers that aren't opted in, since you already have the opt-out database, and would explicitly have the opt-in information. You'd need the ability to import…

  16. Currently the email notification template for received text messages only includes a label in the "TO" field of the email body and not the actual phone # the text message was sent to.

    It would be helpful if the phone # the text was sent to was also provided, especially when an extension has multiple phone #'s assigned to it or if the text happened to be directed to a Company phone # (or site) that is not on a user or message-only extension.

  19. Stop multiple messages from just one number, for example when we communicate with this number, this number sends like 10 messages but one information like he will say "yes" on the text but will be sent like 10x, I want to stop that because the charges increase on our system.
