Update the TCR application for existing RingCentral customers (or all) to enable opt out of marketing (consenting to not selling to customers for each number on account) if we don't directly engage customers (e.g. deliver technology support services). This is common and usual practice for U.S. federal subcontractors whom provide support services and knowledge capital services to the larger established defense companies (e.g. Prime Contractors are required to have a website to win any government contracts, but not subcontractors pending nature of work).   2. We are using another provider to be able to share our main number sms inbox, I learned that an update will be coming soon that will allow users to share an inbox, that is great!.

    But, we also need to be able to send a mass texts to our contacts, to announce office closure, holiday greetings or other business related announcements.

    This feature will get RC close to being a one stop option for Voice/Text service.

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We are currently using RingCentral for our communication needs and have encountered a limitation that we hope you can help us resolve. We have been trying to create a group text by entering phone numbers (without extension numbers) to send bulk messages and images. However, we have noticed that there is a limit of only 11 members per group text, and we are unable to add a 12th phone number.

  7. Other companies offer a way to "flag" text messages to better track what you are working on. I'd like to have a flag to remind me I'm still waiting on an answer or it needs follow up. It would be great if there were different flags that I could customize to fit my needs. It would be nice if we could "Pin" a text feed so it always shows up at the top.

  8. I would like to suggest a feature for adding a much more detailed view of when a user is added and/or removed from the SMS business campaign. Currently when removing a phone number from the SMS campaign, it shows who made the change and the number that was removed. When we add a phone number, it only states "1 number(s) was/were assigned to the registration "Registered Brand" so we have a difficult time trying to get a timeline created when a user requests the feature and states they had it before.

  9. When you STAR an individual text message which marks it as "ADD TO FAVORT TEXTES" that should move all those Stared text messages to the TOP so you can easily find them. The current problem is that you must scroll though all your text messages to find the ones that are "Stared" . It would also be better of the actual Star would be darker, as it is a very light grey and doesnt stand out from all the other text messages. I personally use the Star function to remind me to follow up with those messages or to mark…

  10. We have a user that would like to send text messages as another user. I have looked in the settings on the ringcentral app and I am only able to change to my own number. Would this be a setting that we can enable?

    The extension for the user is ext. 4352 Crystal Jones. She is wanted to text out using her coworkers number (ext. 2503) Lisa Shockey for when she’s out sick. Is Crystal able to change her number and do this?

  15. It would be really beneficial to add a quality of life feature that would allow users to create "groups" or "folders" for contacts inside of Ring Central. Similar to how in my email I can create folders/categories and place email threads in those places as a way to declutter and streamline my email process. Alternatively, if there was even a way to just separate your named contacts from your unnamed contacts inside of your "text" tab, that would be a helpful start.
