  2. We would like to request the ability to filter the inbound SMS messages we receive. Example , we would like to exclude simple responses such as “like” or any indication that the customer liked the message we sent.

    This filtering would help us focus on more important message and reduce sms usage.

  3. Right now, in your Text Messaging support, when sending a text to more than one recipient, you have a checkbox: "Create group text". I have a user type for whom I want this box to NEVER be checked. I want them to be able to bulk-text customers, but not be able to loop those customers into a shared group text. Is it possible to disable that checkbox on a given role?

  5. It would be nice to be able to reorganize any text templates in the list. LIke being able to drag and drop more used texts to the top and less used to the bottom.

  7. Submitting in behalf of customer

    The customer is requesting a feature to allow outgoing SMS messages to display a custom caller ID (e.g., a name or branded ID) instead of showing the phone number. This would improve brand recognition and user experience for their SMS communications.

On the RC Phone App if you go to Messages & message an employee you have the below options, but you don’t have these options when using Text in the RC App. • You Can like the message • You can Edit the Message • You can reply with Emojis None of the above options are available when using Text on the RC Application.   9. If a new number calls that is not saved, you can have it auto set up texts that go to them. As well as a separate section for clients saved. I use this for my business and it would be helpful for clients that have not been saved yet that I can not get to yet. But I do not need the text for new clients to go to those already saved who are my existing ones.

  10. Feature Request: Administrator Control for SMS Opt-Out List

    Problem Statement: RingCentral provides an essential feature that allows customers to opt-out of receiving SMS messages by simply replying either one of the following keywords (depending on the implementation): STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT.

    While this automated system works reliably in most cases, there are rare situations where an opt-out might not be recorded correctly in the RingCentral account. This can lead to your customers continuing to receive unwanted messages, causing frustration for them and potential compliance issues for your business.

Sending outbound SMS messages - when we send an outbound SMS message it does not display the customer phone number in contact history but instead displays a random-looking string of characters. It would be excellent if this were modified to instead show the customer's phone number instead of the random character string.

Users receive uploaded attachments on SMS messages renamed to a random string of numbers that look suspicious and unrelated to the SMS message that was sent as part of the campaign/message that was sent and may not open the file that has the information that they need to review. It would be better if the attached file retained the file name that it was uploaded with so they know it is intended to go along with the text message.

  15. Hello, currently the opt-out message that I am given the option of adding to my texts says "Reply STOP to opt out of these texts." I would like to add to the message the Spanish translation of that text. Please let this be an option in the TCR. Thank you!

  18. Right now the SMS / TEXT id shows only the phone number. So people opt-in for SMS / TEXT messages and then they see a number that they don't remember. If you ask for my CALLER ID to show what I type, then it should apply to the SMS / TEXT as well if I desire it. This feature works on your personal phone when SMS / TEXTing.... also works on WhatsApp and other texting apps, why not here?

  20. Instead of large group texts where everyone can respond to each other we have an option of creating a large group that send individual texts to a mass group by a click of a button instead of entering every individual persons contact every time
