  1. I think there should be a way to remove your custom profile picture to the default image. The only way to do that now is to delete and re-create your extension. This is for RingCentral Meetings & RingCentral App.

  2. We have an edge case where a Shared Line Group is ideal and a few users that would like to be able to accept calls that are forwarded to a Shared Line Group on their soft phones. This currently only works for desktop phones.

  3. We use many platforms/apps for many different functions. These platforms have changed throughout the years but there will always be a need for the following. Communications platform, Tasks and project platform, Client database... among others. If Ring Central could further develop their Workspace area it would allow us to consolidate two or three platforms into RC. SPECIFICS ::From an outsider perspective it feels that "Tasks" were an after thought to the system... which is completely understandable. The status feature (Available, On a Call, In a Meeting, DND, etc.) is a great feature but currently only shows in the messaging section and when you open a contacts profile in the RingCentral desktop app.This makes it essentially useless for us as our main use of the RingCentral app is for making/receiving voice calls.I am requesting that the status be made visible in the following locations in the RingCentral app:Main searchBrowsing contacts list (without opening profile)Searching contacts in DialerSearching contacts when transferring or conferencing a callMost importantly, we need to be able to see this status when transferring calls…

  6. we have an IVR which feeds off to a user (Dial-By Ext Ext. 406) this user is set NOT to ring and has a long custom voicemail asking clients to use DTMF tones to locate an advisor or return to the main menu.it appears a lot of the missed calls which I am not part of any group to received incoming calls.

  7. we have backup number who can answer phone calls if all members are busy in the queue, and that backup number uses the platform where call stays on hold and no ability to press 1, it connect directly without pressing 1. its problem at this moment. Please add option never play announcement on call queue.

  9. please allow access to dial the number directly from the missed call email. It is not efficient the way it is currently set up. You have to write down all the missed call numbers, and then go back to Ring app dial pad to call each one.

Goal: Record & change announcement on the go.Idea 1: Allow direct login to announcement Only ext on the mobile app. User can then record directly from the app.Benefit: It would be very beneficial to be able to update announcements on the go through the mobile app without having to sit down by a PC & log in to change the announcement.Alternate Idea: Enable phone call in method to update the announcement. User would dial a phone number to login & authenticate. User would then be able to listen to current announcement or change announcement.

  14. I'd ike to be able to hide some accounts from the contacts list, within the RingCentral desktop app. For example, we have an account assigned to someone who hasn't started working yet. For now, I don't want them to show up within the Contact List.

    Company Directory Control enables admins to take control of the company contacts shown on employees' clients.   16. Signing onto the Support.ringcentral.com site to get anything done is a true hassle. You go to the site, click the link to log in, then when you click on the My Cases link, you are told "It looks like you're not logged in" and you have to log in again. Then, once you are viewing your case list, when you click on a case to view that case, you are again told "It looks like you're not logged in" and you have to log in FOR A THIRD TIME!   18. After this recent upgrade over the past week (October 13, 2021), the Desktop version lost the ability to see your upcoming meetings beyond 3 days. I often schedule meetings well in advance and like to see them on the internal RingCentral application list versus being forced to go out of the app to the RingCentral Webpage to see future meeting schedules. I do not know why they discontinued having the upcoming meetings on the list.
