Add Status Emoji next to name
Would be nice to have a custom emoji next to a user's name so you know they have a custom status that is maybe hoverable. Currently you cannot see the status until you specifically click on their name. Would be a lot easier to just to glance the contact list/sidebar and see whether or not they're available and if not, hover over the emoji and see what their status is. The fewer the clicks, the better user experience.

Called number as display in RC App
Cust is looking for a feature in RC App to display the Called Number instead the caller's Caller ID. This is because he has different number in the account and he wanted to know how to answer the call base on the Called number

Status in search
If I want to see is someone is green, I have to click Search, then type their name, then click on them to see if they are green or red. I'd like to see their status in the search results so I have an idea if they'll answer the phone without clicking on them first.

Schedule status change at certain dates or times
It would be useful for people who use their work laptops afterhours for personal that we can schedule our presence to turn invisible or available at a certain time, like after 5pm on weekdays so you can be green and available when you log in the morning for work instead of having to remember to toggle this on/off daily

Provide non-updating Desktop App versions on a download page
Our instituion uses the non-update version of RC App for distribution via automated channels to our users desktops. These versions are apparently still maintained, but now we have to request RC staff provide us copies since the downloads.html no longer provides these version.This is inhibiting speedy roll out of new versions, such as 22.1.4 that RC explicitly emailed our team saying it needs ASAP deployment to match new features like Location Awareness. Our support staff needs a more automated way to retrieve downloads and on-demand. We will only be updating as fast as RC permits ... which is not very…

Cut down on video processing time
I created a test video that I recorded and it was about a 30 second video. It is still processing and it's been about 30 minutes so far. I was able to record a similar video with Snag It and that was a 10 second video and it took seconds to process.

Implement a Disable Call Blocking Feature
Implement a feature on admin portal to fully disable call blocking for users either by user, group, role, site or company wide. Users can still block calls in the phone app under history (even if role is setup with the Screening, Greeting & Hold Music unchecked (which blocked calls is a subset of)). This way the control is on the admin users and end users would not be able to use or change that feature unless admin portal settings are updated.

Add an ‘x’ to close button next to each name in Messaging
Often times it’s just quick chat that can closed when done. Having to clicking the 3 dots next to the name then navigate to Close is also cumbersome.

Cmd + Enter should send a new message in RC App
RC on Mac. This is fairly standard across the web: enter text into a textboxpress cmd enterform posts to serverBut when I press enter or cmd enter in a text compose window it won't send. I have to move my hand off the keyboard to actually send. See attachment. No variation of the enter key that I have tried will actually "send" that message.

Should be able to see Edit history of messages
AS we can see there is no way a chance to see the history of messages which got edited after delivery using Ring central appif a person A speaks with person Bthen A says "ABCD"and B sees "ABCD"then after 1 hr or 2 hr's A changes the message using edit option as "XYZ" and then once if B comes back he sees "XYZ" instead of abcdand there is no way a track on the changed messages this can happen several times and leaves a impression that this leaves a wrong communication so it would be good if you provide nay…

Hide RingCentral App Features
It is extremely confusing to have RingCentral Messages as well as Text Messages. There are already too many methods for communication for most users (email, text, phone, Teams, RC Messages, Skype). We should be allowed to disable this feature. All customers are different, but we should have the ability to administratively disable certain features. Messaging is one of the key ones. Fax should also be able to be disabled from the administrative level.

In RC app/Glip, allow converting one-on-one conversations to Team (or some other archive option)
When a user is removed from Ringcentral, all Glip group or one-on-one conversations with that user are lost. With groups, you can convert them to a Team prior to deleting the user to conserve the conversation, but you can't do this with one-on-one conversations. It would be helpful to have the same ability to convert a one-on-one conversation to a team (or some other archive method), to preserve the conversation, as there are often important details, links and files that will be lost otherwise, once the user is removed from RingCentral.

Warn before closing RingCentral Desktop app
As a company we want the RC app open on everyone's desktop to allow for chat and collaboration. People that like to use one app at a time and close it (often full-screen app users) may accidentally close the app and disconnect themselves from RC. When you close the app, it should give a popup that says "Did you mean to QUIT RingCentral?" and have two buttons: Quite, and Minimize.

Allow Use of any Number as Caller ID by Any User from Any Site
We would like to the ability to use any number we own in our system as caller ID for any user, regardless of which site they are associated with. When Multi-Site settings are in use, only numbers associated with Company Site can be shared across the system for use as caller ID.

Remove Message Tab Completely for Specific Users
Retail/Hospitality customers need the ability to remove message completely for small number of users but have enabled for the greater account. Currently there is not a way to support this as the custom role will remove messaging completely at the account level. This prohibits adoption for the greater team and pushes customers to use alternate messaging products. This applies to both Mobile App (some use IPADs) as well as the Desktop App.
