  1. Customer Concern:

    The customer reports that they have lost the direct call transfer option when receiving a second incoming call from a call queue.

    Current Behavior:

    When a second inbound call comes from a call queue, the forward/transfer button is no longer immediately visible in the app.

    The customer now needs to click the “More” button to access the transfer or forward options.

    Previous Behavior:

    The transfer/forward buttons were readily available without the need to navigate to “More.”

  2. The customer would like to customize their call recordings for documentation/organization purposes. For example, they would like a text field where they can label the call and recording according to their claim, so they can easily document and tag them.

    This is very helpful for tracking and simplifying tasks and provides efficiency.

  3. Ability to extract 1:1 messaging history between two specific users only, excluding all other messages and conversations not involving both selected participants.

    The Message Data Export tool currently allows the selection of an individual user’s messaging history. However, it exports all conversations that user has participated in, making it difficult to isolate and retrieve communication history between two specific individuals.

  4. Hello,

    I would like to suggest an improvement for the RingCentral mobile app on Android.
    Currently, when a second call comes in while you’re already on a call, the phone rings loudly, which can be disturbing both for the user and for the person on the line.

    It would be much better to have an option for a discreet beep notification, similar to how native Android calls or Microsoft Teams handle call waiting.
    This would allow users to be aware of an incoming call without interrupting or distracting from the current conversation.

    We request the ability to automatically generate actionable tasks in the RingCentral app based on the task summaries identified in call transcripts.

    Use Case:
    Currently, RingCentral transcribes and summarises calls, often including follow-up actions. However, converting these summaries into actual tasks within the app requires manual effort, which is time-consuming and can lead to missed follow-ups — especially on days with high call volume.

    Automatically convert identified task summaries from call transcripts into tasks within the RingCentral app.

    Description:
    Please add a feature that allows users to recover or restore deleted notes within RingCentral. This would help prevent accidental data loss and improve overall user efficiency.

    Use Case:
    Users sometimes delete notes unintentionally. Having a recovery or “trash” option would allow them to restore important information without needing backend intervention.

  9. Requesting the addition of a Sign Out option for Message-Only Extensions within the RingCentral mobile app.

    We currently have a Message-Only Extension that I logged into using the RingCentral app on my Android smartphone. However, there is no available option to sign out from this extension, as the Sign Out button does not appear in the Profile Menu when using a Message-Only Extension, unlike with a regular user extension.

  10. Having a copy of the document that was faxed attached to the Fax Message Transmission Result email will be very helpful. In our case, as a law firm, we need to add a copy of that email to the case as proof that the fax was sent successfully. Having the document attached to the confirmation email will make it easier for the Legal Assistants, Paralegals, and Attorneys to identify which case that fax belongs to.

  13. Currently for and end user it is quite cumbersome to change the caller id of the desktphone. Unlike for the desktop app you cannot do this directly in the application and instead need to switch in the preference menu.

    This is not a good user experience when you are using especially a paired phone.

    Please add another row to allow a user to change the caller id of the deskphone more comfortably for the configured deskphone.

    Or automatically adjust the own caller ID in the phone when pairing the phone?

  14. Give the Ring Central app the ability to orient the screen to your phone settings. It is really annoying when the screen on my phone is tilted to a "landscape" and the app view does not adjust when I orient my phone in a different way.

  18. It is not possible for an individual user to completely remove the "Workspace" feature tab from the RingCentral app interface. The tabs shown in the main navigation bar are a core part of the app's design and functionality, and there is no direct setting to hide or disable the "Workspace" tab itself.
