  4. Currently, when a user utilizes the "Report an Issue" feature within the RingCentral Desktop or Mobile app, the diagnostic logs and descriptions are sent directly to RingCentral Support. Company Administrators have no visibility into these reports unless the user manually notifies the IT team. We are requesting an automated notification system that alerts designated Admins whenever a user on their account submits a report.

    Problem Statement
    Lack of Visibility: Admins are often unaware of recurring user issues until they escalate, even if users have already "Reported an Issue" via the app multiple times.

    Set and maintain different theme preferences per device

    Disable theme synchronization across devices

    Prevent theme changes on one computer from affecting other logged-in devices

  6. We would like to request the addition of a keyword search function within the AI Notes feature. Currently, the search capability is limited to caller ID names and phone numbers, but it would be very helpful to also search by general keywords within the notes.

    This enhancement would make it much easier to locate specific information quickly and improve overall efficiency when reviewing records.

    Introduce administrative controls to restrict visibility and usage of the Workflow Builder feature within the RingCentral App.

    Description

    Currently, the Workflow Builder is visible and accessible to users without sufficient administrative oversight. This request proposes enhanced access controls to improve security, governance, and user experience.

    Hide Workflow Builder from App UI

    Provide an admin-level setting to completely hide the Workflow Builder option from the RingCentral App interface for selected users or roles.

  8. At the moment Hotdesk Devices in Germany with a German number are only supported, when you use the setup of limited extension devices as per this support article (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/8863.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingEX&language=en_US)
    This has the disadvantage that you can always place a call from this device which is not expected or whished by the client to happen. Also it requires an additional limited extension license.

    Instead, the behaviour should be like when setting up UK devices, meaning:
    - Hotdesk works as you would expect
    - no calls possible when logged out
    - licence is for free

  9. Customer Concern:

    The customer reports that they have lost the direct call transfer option when receiving a second incoming call from a call queue.

    Current Behavior:

    When a second inbound call comes from a call queue, the forward/transfer button is no longer immediately visible in the app.

    The customer now needs to click the “More” button to access the transfer or forward options.

    Previous Behavior:

    The transfer/forward buttons were readily available without the need to navigate to “More.”

  10. Ability to dial out while there is an incoming call, after the latest update the ability to dial out while there is an incoming call is no longer available. You need to ignore the call first to be able to dial out which is inconvenient for customers that has a call queue and receiving a lot of calls.

  13. Now that RingCentral is retiring the "RingCentral Phone" Windows desktop app on May 19th, 2026, users are now forced to use the "standard" RingCentral desktop app for calls/texts/faxes on a PC. In the "standard desktop app" RingCentral implemented a UI feature called "Compact" mode, that somewhat mirrors how the old "RingCentral Phone" app looked.

    However, every time you restart the PC the RingCentral app will start in the "larger view" and you manually need to switch it back to the "Compact View". I'm wondering in a future product update, if you can "save your preference" for the Compact View when…

  20. We formally request that RingCentral enhance the synchronization of the Do Not Disturb (DND) feature upon activation from the Mitel 480 device. This improvement would significantly optimize our communication processes and ensure seamless integration between our systems.
