    Settings on mobile app to ensure to do not incur costs for international calls

    Hi. I've enabled international calling using the admin console. I wanted to check that using the mobile app wouldn't result in call charges as per guidance at

  7. The RingCentral app currently recognises .HEIC/.HEIF images as attachments and if the other user wants to open/view the image, they have to click Download the file (treated as an attachment).
    Going forward there would be more and more devices t hat use these formats so I believe it would be useful to get prepared.
    It might also apply for the .HEVC video formats.
    The suggestion is to have the RingCentral App to process and display them as native images in the chat.

  8. We see area codes, sometimes many for a single country, and even if the visible area codes are enabled it just says that the user is 'not authorized to make the call'. We have to call in to determine that the number is blacklisted for fraud and a form request must be sent in to the fraud team to unlock the blocked number.If a different message presented, or if the billing area included the codes that are blacklisted, it would just make this easier to know that a request needs to be sent to whitelist the number.   11. A small but impactful feature that other systems we've used have is an audio tone/cue when a call is disconnected, whether abruptly or when a call is naturally ended. For anyone using a softphone and using multiple windows on a screen, sometimes it is hard to know if the call was disconnected or if the window is lost somewhere on the screen. Time is spent double checking if a call is still active or not rather than having something notify you appropriately.

  12. Summarize only messages with Team and direct mentions with links to each such message in big chats. It's much more helpful than current "Summarize unread messages" in chats with many participants, where occasional important messages are posted for everyone, or some questions may be asked directly to me, but lost with other mentions.

New Layout Dial Pad: (To “merge” conference the call, need to click on “Call list” then hover over call on hold and select the “merge” option)This is making it harder for our users to "Merge' calls. Can we get the functionality added back into the new app? Workaround: Switch the MVP App to the Old Layout but we don't know how long it will be around.

  17. Where would an end user go to audibly record their name for use in the system directory. I can find a setting for this within service.ringcentral.com, but cannot at app.ringcentral.com. It is my assumption that we want the end user going to app.ringcentral.com rather than service.ringcentral.com. It seems counter-intuitive to direct them to another site for this setting.
