  2. We, Driving Force, do not have land lines at some of our locations and exclusively use the RingCentral app on desktop and/or mobile devices. Looking for a method to alert personnel in specific buildings (i.e., only alert those in a building that is exposed to fire or other hazard and not all company buildings). In previous "land line" scenarios, a predetermined number (e.g., 5555) was dialed which in turn triggered an audible alarm and alerted personnel to proceed to the muster point. Further, there was also a first aid response mode where those needing assistance could connect with first aid…

Feature request: Ability to share meeting templates (including polls) with coworkers and/or include meeting templates as part of the user setup template.Additional detail: We coordinate CPE for our users through RC meetings. Our regs require attendance polling questions every 15 minutes or so. These are the same questions used for every meeting. I'd love to be able to have our presenters (internal) select a template rather than having to manually enter the polling questions each time. I have an example template here: Meeting ID 145-642-4165

  5. Currently, if a user monitors multiple user's presence, there is only an option to turn on/off "ring my phone" for all users. It would be helpful to allow that setting to be turned on/off by monitored user. This would allow a user to see the status of users on their physical phone, but not have the phone ring for everyone they want to monitor status.So, I would want to have 10 users where I monitor presence, but only 5 of them I want their line to ring when their phone rings.

  6. Hello as an RC Admin for my Org I have been approached about Monitoring RC Chat Messages for Human Resources and Security. We would like the capability to see what is being said over chat from all users within our organization (in real time). I have called RC Tech Support and they assured me this is not a current feature so I would like to suggest this as one.

  9. It would be helpful to be able to manage meetings after they've been created from within the RC App. Once created there's no way to get back to them to change or cancel. There's also no way to see a list of upcoming meetings in the App.It can be done in the RC Meetings App but not the Unified RC Desktop App. Since the RC Desktop App is supposed to be the consolidated place to do everything I would think this should be added to it, especially if the separate apps are going to be phased out next year.

  10. If I use the computer app, I want to see where the call is coming from, what extension it is coming through. For example, on my phone app there is an small circle with an i in the middle that I can click on and it says To:864-772-3410 (me) for example. That's what I need to locate when using computer.

  11. Could there be a way like most on premise solutions to have calls coming into a call queue ring it simultaneously. then after a certain number of ring overflow into another queue and ring those extensions simultaneously.

  14. I noticed when you disable a user, it automatically removed them from every group chat/team they were assigned to. I think it would be great for an employee/user we disable to retains the teams/group chat they were assign to. Example: Employee A leaves the company --> Company's IT disable them --> Company retains the ext --> new employee is hired and takes that ext --> once reactivated, they have access to the group chats/teams.

With COVID and curbside checkins, it would be great if when customers arrive, they could send a text to our main number letting us know they are here and we could have that forward to multiple ringcentral extensions/numbers and receive the text on multiple computers via the RingCentral Phone app.

  16. A group seems fine except every time someone new is hired this group would need to be maintained. It would be nice for company-wide alerts and announcements to have this simply be every user setup in the company account.

It would be great to be able to activate limited extensions when creating them.The kitchen and breakroom phone don't need an email address assigned to them which means I end up assigning my own and I have to manually click on each email and activate them myself.We have hundreds of sites with phones like this and it is a major pain.

  19. I have an admin account that is for all official calls (non-customer related) and that extension has 5 phone numbers associated with it. It would be great if the receptionist could transfer to a certain number in the extension instead of just the extension itself and then tell me which number it is calling.

  20. Call handling', setup in the portal, is used for our call forwarding functionality. As such, when a user has PA number's added for call forwarding, they appear under the 'flip' menu when on a call, unfortunately, it doesn't work for flip.
